Because whoever KZ is referring to, recently hid an ad.
Is he kidding? Criminals and Defense Attorneys have also been using the media to muddy the waters of investigations and they have been doing so for donkeys years.
SA himself could not put himself in front of the cameras enough to tell the public the cops were going to plant evidence and this is before anyone knew she was deceased.
OJ Simpson and the Ramseys did the same thing. If anyone has a big bag of underhanded and manipulative tactics, its a defense attorney and based on her behaviour in the Avery case, Zellner isn't against digging deep into her bag.

Casey Anthony is another example and she had NO money to her name either. Zellner is venturing into Jose Baez territory with her tweets. :moo:Is he kidding? Someone truly working pro bono would not accept donations herself, rather if they were really working with the Innocence Project, donations would be directed there and earmarked for their client.Kathleen Zellner ‏@ZellnerLaw 1h1 hour ago

she tweeted the above with the following picture of a statement:

**** I have read "rumour" or "rumor" (depending on your country haha) that the family may not be using donated funds for what is intended. That being said.... I have also read posts on the now official family fb asking how they can "help" the family too. So I'm not sure if this is in response to that, or if it's in response to others (because there has been a few different people trying to make money off this situation.... always 1 or 5 in the crowd lol)
Ditto! Nor would someone who is confident their client will be freed with a hefty lawsuit to follow. Are things turning pear shaped?Someone truly working pro bono would not accept donations herself, rather if they were really working with the Innocence Project, donations would be directed there and earmarked for their client.
Between her Twitter behavior and having recently watched "A Murder In the Park" I grow more skeptical of her and wonder if she's got a case of the David Protess syndrome...
I don't disagree. I believe every defendant should have the ability to solicit contributions to help provide them with the ability to afford then the best defense possible. From what I understand HastingsChi.... SA is actually Zellner's client, but she has the assistance of the other lawyer with the Innocence Project because she is from out of state. It's not like Zellner is assisting the Innocence Project. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong.
I don't see anything wrong with the funds going to experts or for testing, etc. The way that statement is worded.... they are not using the funds as a fee or to pay themselves. If people want to "help", whatever.... LOL
I did read elsewhere that someone had actually set up a website with the same address as Zellner but with an extra letter in it, so I think it was actually in response to that incident. I don't want to see anyone getting scammed, if they want to and they have the extra money to donate... it should at least go to the right person/cause. IMO
I'm enjoying watching people try to discredit Kathleen Zellner. It's quite interesting, given her track record. But OK.
I also tried to find peer reviewed work... under at least one of the individuals, and found none. Not that it does not exist. However, I am extremely skeptical that they have any published research.
In any event, I wrote this paper regarding detecting deception back in 2007.
Btw, and aside, the CIA has been searching for the ultimate "truth serum" since the 1940s, when it was still the OSS. In fact, MK-Ultra was created, in part, as a result of their search. And we all know how that turned out.
I'm not trying to discredit her. I'm simply highlighting things that raise red flags.I'm enjoying watching people try to discredit Kathleen Zellner. It's quite interesting, given her track record. But OK.
I haven't read the paper you wrote yet.... but just wanna say..... that's kinda cool LOL

Would you not agree that if a pro bono attorney who is directly accepting donations for a specific client should provide donors with a monthly or quarterly line item accounting of how the donations are being used?
When one focuses solely on track records and gets lax on accountability, the David Protess' of that world act with impunity...
