Zizians linked to four murders in three states, January 2025

According to this article, Michele Zajko was a suspect in her parent’s murders very early on.
After LE searched Michele’s house in Vermont just 10 days after the murders, and discovering the same type of gun used in the killings the article said:
“On Jan. 12, 2023, the search warrant was executed at the Coventry residence. Police say three cartridges were recovered that could match the bullets used in the Pennslyvania killings.”
So two years later LE never actually ran the ballistics to confirm the match?
The daughter should have been behind bars two years ago.
Now a border agent is dead and they have to find her.

State troopers traveled northeast the following day to interview Michelle Zajko at her home in Orleans, Vt. The daughter lived with a roommate, identified as Daniel Blank.
Michelle Zajko told the troopers she had an alibi: She had been at home with her roommate from Dec. 29, 2022, to Jan. 1, 2023. She told the troopers she had not been to Pennsylvania since the onset of COVID and had not spoken to her parents since January 2022, Robillard wrote.
She did not acknowledge receiving the Signal message about savings bonds from her mother’s phone days earlier until after an investigator asked her about it, the sergeant wrote. Zajko said she owned a 2013 Subaru Outback, and she allowed Robillard to handle a gun she owned, a Smith & Wesson pistol that fired 9mm rounds.

The tone of this article almost kept me from posting it, but there’s some new information and a few new photos.

Michelle Zajko

'Police in Vermont and across the region are looking for a person believed to have purchased the handguns used by two people involved in the shooting death of U.S. Border Patrol agent David "Chris" Maland earlier this month in northern Vermont.

According to the Albany Times-Union, police records show that law enforcement officials are searching for 32-year-old Michelle J. Zajko related to the purchase of those firearms.'

It is not possible to 'match' bullets that have been fired from a gun, and then, even further, has penetrated a wall, a body, etc The bullet becomes too severely damaged to know what it looked like before it was exploded.

The controversial 'matching' that was testified to in the Richard Allen case, was to an unspent bullet that fell out of the gun, without ever having been fired. Even then, if it had been the only evidence implicating Allen, I doubt a jury would have convicted him solely on that evidence.

The job of police is difficult. They can't just invent evidence, or plant it, to justify arresting someone

It is highly possible Zajko was indeed in Vermont when her parents were killed. IMO, that is an elementary strategy for someone who is bound to be the chief suspect.

This is the key for the group's funds, I reckon--they hit upon a population with the perfect combination of means (tech development tends to pay relatively steadily) loneliness (trans folks are often isolated--ditto for autistic folks) and idealistic bleeding hearts (vegans, animal rights activists, "AI will save the world" types.)

You're spot-on with the hippie cult comparison. I was thinking of those scummy televangelists who make all their broadcasts in the daytime, day in and day out, on free-to-air TV channels. Perfectly timed so the lonesome elderly, and others who can't get out anymore, will sign over their Social Security check to pay for the preacher's fifth house.

I very much doubt they're more than a handful of people. The more members you have, the more likely it is someone'll post about it online--and there is practically nothing out there about the Zizians besides the court documents and a post warning people to be wary of the group. That, and the same people being arrested several years back for protesting a group with (on the surface) similar goals, saying it was not extreme enough. They weren't interested in growing.
I agree. Though for a while now, it seems the original members have been lying low, perhaps hiding from police.

IMO, TY and MS could be new recruits (drawn in together). I admit I haven't
extracted their exact timeline of life activitie from the published sources, but it seems to me they are both too young to have been involved in the late 2022 incidents.

So then, it seems possibly the new recruits were each assigned a very challenging, dangerous job. One of them to, allegedly, kill CL, the other to do something to protect and assist the German, B, in Vermont

That is not just a cult-like strategy (if you remember NXIVM, there was a branding process required to join the inner circle), it's also a tactic of organized crime groups: if you want to be accepted into the inner circle, you must prove yourself.

I would say, if this was the strategy, it backfired. The 'new recruits' messed up, big time. FBI now have phones, laptops. They can learn a lot from those, as well as pressuring people to inform on the inner group.

We’ll just have to disagree on ballistic evidence.
I’m not here to debate it.
I’m here to talk about this case.

Mugshots from the protest arrests courtesy of the linked (within SFist article) SFChron article. Top to bottom they are Jack Lasota (Ziz), Emma (Amir) Borhanian, Gwen Danielson, Alexander Leatham. Jack's whereabouts are currently unknown, Emma was the 2022 Vallejo stabbing attacker who was shot dead by the victim, Alexander was one of the two 2022 Vallejo stabbing attackers who is imprisoned and charged with murder. Can't find anything on Gwen Danielson.

These mugshots are all pretty alarming. I don't know if they are on drugs or what, but their is just nothing there.. angry, wide eyes and very empty looking. Sad.

I know what you mean. By nature I am “live and let live” person. Not that I run in these circles, but I tend to accept every person as a person. By my observation, LGBTQ+ are pretty harmless, but perhaps there are outliers in any group? Hard to tell yet what it is.
Let us think logically. The opposite group - conservative, disciplined, religious, masculine, hunters - might look more threatening, and yet, only a very small fringe would end up spreading violence, right? Same here, I think in groups who by default define themselves as “margins”, the majority is, actually, more “median” and stable. JMO.

We should come up with better vitamins for vegans. They don’t mind supplements, they mind getting them from animals.
Me too charlot123.... if it isn't bothering me or others in some way, then it's really not my concern. This group sounds more like it's hijacked a group of people and turned it into something it isn't. I don't know if each member really is transgender or if they are buying into this theory the "leader" has about the two sides of the brain and so on. I also know many vegans and they value animals AND human life. They would not subscribe to this no harm to animals, but murdering people is fine thinking. Most vegans I know also wouldn't do drugs or half the things this group is doing. They tend to be peaceful people. Of course my vegan friends don't make up what all vegans think, but I am guessing not many would be okay with any of this groups ideas.

This group sounds mentally ill to me or well the leader for sure who has convinced so many others that this is the path they should go down. Now people are dead and other crimes have been committed. Lives ruined.

What are the chances that Zajko is in Canada atm? Are her funds coming from her parents’ estate? I noticed that her address recorded in voter records archives reflect a sale a few months after her parents were killed.

Sheesh, I hope not. I'm in Canada and this crew give me the creeps! Would she be able to cross the border into Canada? Likely east coast? Although IIRC didn't Ziz have a connection to Washington state or maybe I have that wrong.

Not Zaiko. Theresa “Milo” Youngblut and their partner Snyder were computer science students at UW. Zaiko, I believe, is from the East Coast, NC PA and VT were mentioned, but lived in California for a while.

I think there are two different ideas, and a person tried to merge them, but not too well. One was a transformation of “two-spirit” concept borrowed from Native Americans.

But, since it is a cultural appropriation and shouldn’t be used by non-Natives, hence someone comes with the concept of two sides of the brain. Biologically, it makes little sense, IMHO.

About the animals. Trying to follow their logic. Yes, ironically, even in Chernobyl where you’d expect to see sick animals after the nuclear disaster, totally different thing happens, lots of rare species emerge and thrive. But taking us humans out won’t help because the next in line species will evolve into another us, that’s all. To me, it looks primitive and scary but also, it is the product of a very lonely mind. And yet some of them definitely were gifted kids. It seems that lack of contact during Covid changed a lot.

So we know now Daniel Blank was Zajko's roommate in Vermont. But when the police arrived at the Vermont house with a warrant on 1/12/22 he was not there and instead found at a Philadelphia airport hotel in a room with Ziz (Lasota) and where Zajko was staying in another room.

He was reported missing to Pennsylvania State Police on April 12, 2023 according to SFChron. And Namus has his last known location as Media, Pennsylvania 19063 which I assume is the hotel location. So three months between when he was last seen and when he was reported missing. Wonder who reported him missing.
