I believe that her phone number had been published in early social media posts, presumably by herself or family, in order to receive potential information immediately.Sorry to go off subject but how did Jay’s Mum receive a text warning her she wouldn’t see her son again just as she landed in Tenerife? I know this was an early topic of discussion but how do they know it was ‘trolls’? She hadn’t put up any posters with her number on or anything as had only known for a few hours he was missing. For all we know, Jay is out there repaying a debt in some way. Mum of missing Brit gets chilling five-word message on her phone
She didn’t land until after the original posters were out with their phone numbers on. The posters were made on the Tuesday, they didn’t arrive until late Wednesday and posted on the official Facebook group it was getting dark and they would go out on the Thursday to look for him. Search poster on the official group and it pulls up both the post that says they have arrived (5 days ago) and the original poster someone made (6 days ago)Sorry to go off subject but how did Jay’s Mum receive a text warning her she wouldn’t see her son again just as she landed in Tenerife? Yes. So she must have had Snapchat.Do you need to be registered on Snapchat to receive a message though? Surely if you don’t have the app downloaded or an account people can’t randomly message you?

I’m in a living hell, says Jay Slater’s father as search enters second week
The 19-year-old from Lancashire went missing after a music festival in Tenerifewww.telegraph.co.uk
Jay's father, shared his concerns about the disappearance: "You think: 'Has somebody got him?' Because no matter if you were drunk or whatever, you don't go off that road up there...
Well, of course they do.That does make me wonder if they know more than they are letting on. JMO.
If he is carrying that bag, he certainly had some money on him, although he could have lost it or been robbed.Looking back about the snap chat, I came across this article where his mum is quoted as not knowing whether he had any money on him, so we can’t rule out he had access to cash.
Missing Brit's mum sent chilling Snapchat saying 'kiss goodbye to your son'
JAY Slater’s heartbroken mum received a sickening Snapchat message about her son as his family fears the teen may have been kidnapped. A huge search effort is underway for the Brit teen, who …www.thesun.co.uk
If that was him in the middle of the town at 6 pm why wouldnt he had asked for help from someone? or at least recharge his phone and tell his friend where he was. He suposedly had been walking from almost 10 hours with no water. It doesnt make any sense. I just dont think its him.
So you're saying they could have identified what jay was wearing exactly, but they are just allowing shoddy inaccurate or incomplete descriptions of a missing person to be publicised anyway..I dont think we know that this hasnt been done?
