No. DNA can differentiate you from your siblings/mother/father. It would not have any issue distinguishing between two similar looking people. I can explain in more detail if you'd like (I'm a biologist).
I agree with above posters that there is video evidence. This is how they are so confident 1) she is dead 2) she was tortured to death and 3) a search party won't be of use.
It's unclear to me whether murder was the intent, or just his torture was so severe that death was a likely outcome and...

i highly doubt the girls saw him exposing himself and then LAUGHED and he got angry. no way no how. maybe the girls saw him expose himself, but 13/14 year old girls arent that naive. they would most definitely not be laughing. they might be terrified or threatened-- but not laughing.

Re the "took advantage of their innocence" to me means it wasnt a random encounter. You don't need to be innocent to be randomly murdered in a park-- you need to be innocent to trust someone you shouldn't trust.

Hmm, is it possible that LE has her body already and wants BC to tell them the place so they have more evidence against him ("he knows where her body is he is likely the killer)? that would explain why there have been no searches
