You would think if that was the case they would at least find his shoes. Also why would the FBI be involved if they suspected a mountain lion. I believe they looked into that idea and they don't really think that is what happened. That's what I gather from the info out there.

I agree. There would be no reason to involve the FBI if they suspected an accident. Also they stated its a multi- jurisdictional investigation. That to me also says they suspect foul play.

The rumor is of Joe jogging in the opposite direction from the original plan. Thus not N or up 250 but down and South towards 17 and the River. Rumor only.

So then what is your perspective? Considering there is little information and myself and others do not personally know the family, we are just stating our opinions using the information we see. We all want JK found.

I agree. There is also a guy on the Find Joe page that is stating Joe was seen running in the wrong direction, again just rumor only, but I'm surprised they haven't deleted that comment, if that is true maybe he did turn to go back early for some reason. So many questions and SO LITTLE...

Does anyone know how soon after he went missing a search was started? I thought I read the friends and family searched that evening. I'm wondering if it is possible he went back to the ranch before CG or if he made it back and something happened afterwards. Just thinking.

This is rumor only, but supposedly he had lunch with the aunt, split wood with uncle and cousin saw him leaving for his run. IF this is true, I'm not 100% sure what I think about him going missing.

To me the friends look sincerely upset, their eyes are red from crying, they make eye contact.. On the other hand BJ is jittery, not making eye contact and seems to struggle with what to say. Jmo.

That's my guess, considering that once he was in custody they stopped the ground searches and only concentrated on water.
