    Deceased/Not Found UK - April Jones, 5, Machynlleth, Wales, 1 Oct 2012 #2 *M. Bridger guilty*

Sorry, missed the earlier bit that being in the forces was a lie, but as I edited my post to say, the MOD aren't the best at accessing records quickly, or accurately keeping records.

Can anyone enlighten me on the following. He was an Essex boy, what made him move to a small welsh speaking community miles away? I understand he moved there in the late 80's, did he fight in the Falklands, hence a need to "get away" to a calmer place? Is he one of those ex army survival nuts...

From what I understand, there were only two locals known to have a left hand drive 4x4. Hence the quickness to put MB on the radar.

I find the pink ribbon thing a bit, can't really think of the word without coming over heartless, tacky, naff, jumping on the bandwagon; and you can always bet there is some chancer opening up a Pink ribbon shop. However, a small symbol of solidarity such as the pink ribbon, may give the...

No, you live approx 120 miles East ;-) Also don't forget the map of GB is falsely placed upright for the sake of fitting on weather maps, Edinburgh is actually further West than Bristol.

Also, many in the UK do not realise that sunset times in West Wales are quite a bit later than London time. Sunset was 1853 on 1st October for Aberystwyth. Whilst I think that is a bit late for a 5 year old to be out, if she had been cooped up in a school meeting with other children prior...

I really don't understand this; MB has lived in the area for over 20 years and has no previous, nor any suspicions from the locals - and this alone is a bit weird, any Englander moving into a small Welsh town will have been "checked out" by the locals. Believe me, on social visits I get "Hello...

What an evil leech that interviewer seems. Digging for dirt from a poor son that has little to do with his biological father for years. Unfortunately we all seem to thrive on bits and pieces of tittle tattle gleaned in an unprofessional interview, but this was dredging the depths by my...

Did I read or dream that this guy was ex-military? If so, depending on rank, he has been taught how to lie convincingly if captured, if this is the case only his ex Sergeant Major would be able to snap him out of his training and get at the truth, Heddlu (Welsh for Police), would be no match to...

"Separated by a common language"? Tabloid claims British English invading America

One quick question, on our bottles of detergent for dishes, are the words Washing Up Liquid, what do you have on the American bottles? Also would you take Washing Up Liquid to be shower gel?

"Separated by a common language"? Tabloid claims British English invading America

Perhaps us Brits could post a few sayings that we believe to be totally British, and let our American friends crowbar them into their daily lives to impress their friends and colleagues. :) Here's one for starters... I like the cut of your jib ie I like your style, normally agreeing...

France - Five shot, four dead in French Alps, may have int'l ramifications #1

Maybe just poorly investigated, as I said in a much earlier thread, I hoped British Police would be in control, but sadly not as it took place on French soil. Unfortunately, any crimes against a British person of French soil seems to have been bodged big time.

GUILTY UK - Catherine Wells-Burr, 23, found dead in burned car, Somerset, 12 Sept 2012

Unfortunately, yes, you need it to be in the Main Stream Media or MSM as they refer to on here. I'm wondering if Catherine, whilst academically smart, was a bit naive/vulnerable/clingy in the relationship/real life department. To have been a member of dating sites at the tender age of 23...

GUILTY UK - Catherine Wells-Burr, 23, found dead in burned car, Somerset, 12 Sept 2012

Nice to see the accurate Daily Fail naming Catherine, Charlotte in that picture. I really cannot see a real motive to this killing if the boyfriend, his ex and another 38 year old are involved. If it was a woman on woman murder it would have been jealousy and retribution. I can't see...

GUILTY UK - Catherine Wells-Burr, 23, found dead in burned car, Somerset, 12 Sept 2012

Is the 31 year old held Rafal Nowak? I hope not. I thought it stated somewhere that he was at work at the time of the incident, and was upset he had no contact because his phone was broken. Someone found on 192.com that he previously lived with Anna L, did he go there to collect...

Well, the 36 hours of extra custody allowance has been and gone - but I can find no new news on this one. Anyone else got an update?

France - Five shot, four dead in French Alps, may have int'l ramifications #1

Could the killer and possible accomplice have escaped through the forest on an off road motorcycle. That way they couldn't have been chased by a road vehicle. Has the forest been fully searched - as they could have dumped the bike and got into a car parked up several miles away.
