The phone situation troubles me too. If the phone was intentionally disposed of, by the killer, then presumably it contains information that incriminates the killer. ABCs phone would include regular correspondence with her husband so personally I don't see why GBC would need to dispose of...

Could the missing phone be located at another cache site? That would be really freaky...

Interesting that the family (presumably BCs) callled the reporter to advise that the their cars were still impounded. When I originally read that the cars had been released so quickly, it was one of the key events that made me question GBC's involvement and ponder alternate theories. It...

Supergran, i was thinking it may have been a C21 vehicle ie owned by GBCs business as a "runabout" for the junior staff etc to use as required. The company where I work has a similar arrangement.

Earlier in these posts somene claiming to be "in the know" mentioned GBC's two former business partners had similar number plates: SETTLE and 5ETTLE. Any chance the car spotted today was one of those? Are those individuals (or even just the cars) still in the C21 network?

Is the timing of the following report (today) a coincidence I wonder? http://m.brisbanetimes.com.au/queensland/finks-should-be-declared-illegal-police-20120601-1zmhs.html "It's our view that the Finks Gold Coast chapter pose a great risk to the community, supported by the criminal activity...

I think it is because many believe that the major bikie gangs control the illegal drug trade in Australia, and that they are quite sophisticated businesses that employ lawyers and accountants to legitimise the cashflow. For what it is worth I am of this opinion myself.

Both theories crazy thats for sure - appreciate the feedback! Just trying to think outside the square, see if we can't find another angle... Espionage idea is totally off the wall I agree - although if fiction is to be believed (oxymoron?!) the best agents are always the least likely... And...

I read early on in these threads that ABC spoke 6 languages. It was supported by a media link but I can't link from my handheld sorry! Anyway - that is incredibly unique and unusual to me, I don't know anyone who has 6 languages in their kit bag. This is going to sound very implausible but what...

Thanks UT, I have noticed the reports on who is/isn't a POI have waxed and waned over time. Not exactly convincing either way... Could it be that QPS are more that happy for the media/public focus to remain on GBC so that the "real" suspect feels a sense of security in the hope they eventually...

Ok Minnie, here goes - I expect this to be laughed off the web but I am sick of reading about rigour mortis. Rules aren't clear to me so I think the best bet is to post a series of links and see what everyone thinks... The first two are unrelated to the case but may be relevant to the theory...

Great post Mr Percival - I have often wondered if the initial focus on GBS may have been as much about clearing him as anything else - he was always going to be near the top of the list of potential suspects. But perhaps after testing cars, testing the house, checking computers, etc QPS were...

Hello folks, I've managed with all my willpower to stay quiet for over a week now - I was hoping the "imminent arrest" would have put all this speculation to rest by now... Sadly we are all still here waiting for answers. I may have been put in the dog box with old Scraps for my last...

That's interesting - can you post the link to those statistics I would love to see them. How are the "cases like this" defined?

I think what frustrates some here is that GBC seems fair game for character attacks - he's been called scum, liar, cheat, violent sociopath, etc on the basis of one known affair and looking a bit shifty under close media scrutiny in a high pressure situation. He may not be guilty people. All...

Morning Lu Lu, I guess what I am trying to say is the office lease was a conventional business deal and therefore most likely had conventional funding from a conventional bank. Banks do extensive due diligence on businessess and the key princilals before lending. I also doubt GBC was the sole...

On that note annie46664 I think I had better get some sleep myself, its 3am here! Good luck getting your full theory out I'll come back to it tomorrow.

Maybe Lu-Lu. But as someone else on here pointed out earlier its easy to sublease well located office space so I'm not so sure. Also most of his staff would largely be on commission ie so no sales no pay. His main overhead would be the lease - which is easy to sublease all or part of if it...

I am persisting with an alternate theory, on the off chance the main theory is not correct! I've fleshed it out a bit since this morn. Please bear in mind this is purely for arguments sake only in the absense of fresh news/evidence to fuel the main theory that GBC is guilty. So here goes: 1...

Sorry for the break from me, I've been out stocking up on salt. Out of interest how many times has this hairdresser been interviewed by police now, as it seems pretty clear to me she is central to the investigation and will be the star witness in GBCs trial. The Kim Corrigan case was very...
