I personally think they assume the motorcycle crasher couldn't be a suspect (which I disagree with - it could be possible IMO) because the crash was confirmed.

There's no telling what they were looking for there or why. That's what I find so interesting about that photo. How would they know to search that area either way?

In fact the cart path is .4 miles from her mother's home. Reports said she was found half of a mile from home. The area that police were seen searching is much farther up the road (.9 miles from home)

Seems like anything is possible, but her being alone on a rural road in the middle of nowhere, being attractive and petite, those things also point to her being a target for a random assault and murder like this. This case just seems so difficult to solve. I really hope LE has good evidence...
