I noticed that too.
Having said that - if it was an impoverished family perhaps they shopped at Vinnies and/or used hand me downs? They seemed to be in good condition for boxer shorts that are 15 years old.
Something I'm keeping at the back of my mind re the initial comment that it may be an old murder - remember when Raymond Kehlet went missing in WA earlier this year? A few weeks later they found bones in a mine shaft and said it wasn't him because the bones were obviously years old. But after...
Also, the new photos (Dora tshirt, pink fluffy jacket) make me more convinced that the clothes were in the suitcase with the body. The stains, imo, point to decomposition fluids. That doesn't match up with the idea that the body may have been placed in the suitcase after the murder though.

The article has already been linked a few times, but the last photo shows how the suitcase could have conceivably been...

His skis are missing, say homicide detectives.
I am nearly 100% convinced that there will be an announcement regarding a murder investigation soon :(
I'm looking at my blanket right now - the stitching at the edge is identical, as is the pattern. Have the dimensions of the blanket found with Baby been released?
Regarding the blanket she was wrapped in - has only the one photo been released? I know it won't help much, but I am about 90% sure I have an identical one. Being in Australia, this doesn't mean much (it was probably made in China). I bought it from The Reject Shop (a discount dollar type store)...
This link mentions the early stages of decomposition.
