GDPR? Safeguarding? That's not what the PTA do, rely messages to parents about an urgent issue with their children?
Nicola runs. You don't think she'd try to get to the school ASAP? Or find out further info on what was happening?
I know you're summising, but who would that person be for it to be plausible? And wouldn't Nicola phone and check with the school, or call Paul too? Or hare off, going "OMG, my daughters," then someone has to catch up with her, and it gets messy and shouty when they have to stop her?
No-one. I replied to a theory that someone known to Nicola got her away from the fields and up to the road by telling her there was a problem with the girls at school.
Wouldn't the school phone rather than sending someone running to look for Nicola? And you would send a member of the staff, so it would be noticed who had disappeared?
I grew up a 5 minute walk from junior school, with landline as there were no mobiles in those days, and there was always a call...
Secret protection agency or subterfuge, such as? Yes, going into the UKPPS will be done on the quiet and with some stealth, not generate a massive amount of publicity that puts her description out there. Or that puts other people at risk, and I include police and the community in that?
These...
In the UK there's no such thing as common-law marriage, no matter how long an unmarried couple have been together. Unless they draw up formal legal documents, they are just cohabiting.
Wasn't the string bit from the Tilly Ann twitter? But if the lead and harness were down the embankment, as has been reported, maybe it was easier to secure Willow then retrieve the items.
Yes, I read that too, but can't find it now. IIRC it was a woman (who saw the lead?) and a man (who saw the phone on the ground?). Def reported 2 people, though.
The NCA runs the UK Protected Persons Service. They were also involved in reviewing this case and IMO wouldn’t be letting Nicola be plastered everywhere if she was being relocated, or let her family and friends be at risk by being so high profile.
I think the question was asked in case a set of car keys were found; they usually have the manufacturer's badge on the fob, hence you could potentially tie them in with NB. Though I suppose not releasing the details saves any silly actions by the ghouls.
So you go from someone quick-tempered to coldly calculating and knowing where you could hide a body and how to stage a crime scene? I would have thought the former would panic, not think things through. And to make phone calls and involve someone else takes up callable time.
From Nicola's parents: "Nicola had had a meeting with her boss in Garstang and she said can you stay a bit later because I have an important client coming in on Zoom. We said 'no problem'...

Delete, why? It was a rhetorical question, but perfectly valid as that is what Nicola did; she met her boss in Garstang the day before.
People are making a big thing of Nicola's boss driving to see her; I'm saying meeting Nicola could have been one of several things for which the boss drove up.
True, but there was a half-hour meeting scheduled and she may have been required to participate. Plus NB being seen by other people, and alone, doesn't seem to indicate a physical meeting with someone.
Drops children off at school at 8.43. Walks to fields.Teams meeting at 9-9.30. Expected home by 9.45ish. Not seen in the company of anyone else. Where's the space to meet someone?
