I agree there were other charges. But if they caught a woman who was evading LE for something unrelated...that would automatically not need to be put out there. Or a black man. Or a skinny tall teen. I understand where you are coming from and I ride the fence the RL. Just my .02

Mind blow Justice101. I had not thought of that. I have no inside info...wish I did...but that is plausible at least. I am guessing if this was the case (I repeat...not saying it is) would that still be a double homicide? *thinking* twist?

So much YES here. IMO, they could have said 1) what they said and risked another killing 2) saying what they said because they have info about it being a "hit" 3) were believing they would have this guy in no time flat and now kick themselves for not warning the public. MOO...I'm leaning...

I could get behind this for one thing. Not knowing the extent of your injury makes this statement even more just my opinion. But if I had a shoulder injury, I would be less likely to handle one person much less two. Unless a gun was used for the scare tactic. But how was your mobility?

Glad you mentioned this, I was just about to. Taking it a step farther (from an outsider to this case before today) I heard IMO that he had "groomed" her. That type of mind control...over time...can result in her thinking not as a prisoner but a teammate now. MOO

Again...trying to play catch up so sorry if asked/answered already. Can you not get an Epi Pen at Wal-Mart or stores like that? Over the counter kind of a thing? Asking because I have never had to use one.

Hello all. I came to WS when Abby & Libby were found and have stumbled into a wonderful community with tons of like-minded people out there. First time posting here too. Trying to play catch up ... can someone direct me to an overview of the case? I know I am in Indiana but it seems this guy...

I want to follow Burnt Toast on this. Can we get a link to this interview? TIA. The timeline here is something that may be unraveling a bit and we need to make sure everything we "know" was said and done in sequence IMO. MOO

throwing a dumb question out there: Can someone use the Freedom of Information Act in this case to make LE open up? I know there are things that we do not need to know and things we do not want to know. I also understand LE needs to keep certain things close to the vest so to say so please...

Agreed. I think it is a lesson learned that if we sleuth people, be open and up front about it. Do not try to hide your IP address or go under assumed names. Those things are easy to spot if you know what you are looking for.

I have worked with him for over a year now. He is a great guy but sometimes hard to read...as most detectives are. It was hard seeing him last week because he had been in Delphi since the beginning and now that things are being cut back. But I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

I am asking this because I have the opportunity to ask one of the detectives that worked on the case. Not that he has given me the "you can only ask one question" Jeanie in a bottle thing, but I wanted to approach him with one question. Something he may or may not answer, but it's worth a shot...
