There were a spare set of keys for the truck in Sherrilynn's purse. They were not Bobby's set, and they were not in the ignition. I wish I had a photo that showed the steering wheel at that angle...The media information was not accurate.

Can someone please post the link that had all the information gathered on to one site. It had photos, time-line, parts of the journal....I can't seem to find the link now. Thank you in advance.

OK I need someone to do me a favor. I am a little irritated at the moment. Can someone please call the OSBI and the ME's office and let them know that the DNA has already been collected from the family and that it has already been submitted and the tests are complete for Madyson and...

As far as mental health goes, I am not sure how pertinent it is but they had not missed an appointment with the psychologist up until the 9th.

We are family friendly here at websleuths. I shall refrain from further comment on that matter.

Don't take this in a bashing way...But IF LE tries to say murder suicide then they have been duped. I guess its easier that getting down to the truth. I always go back to motive. If you were going to kill yourself would you be contacting real estate companies and asking them to show you...

OMG...I think it took me almost an hour to catch back up! Now I have to try and remember what all I wanted to respond to..... OK If you look at the Latimer County county map that shows the sections, the truck was found in section 9. If you go three miles to the north you would be in Haskell...

There is not a passable road (by vehicle) that would connect where the truck was found to where the bodies were located. It is at least 20 miles by vehicle. 2.5ish miles as the crow flies. I am looking for a better map to explain. The Jamisons went missing on one side of the mountain and...

They weren't buried. I dont believe that they walked to where they were found. The terrain is bad. Think mountains. From my understanding it would have been difficult for Bobby to walk half that distance on flat ground due to his back, let alone with a child. This is not a case of a family...

I think based on the location it is probably a pretty good chance. I am hoping that this really kick starts the investigation again as to what happened to them. I have always felt that they never left the mountain.

I am just glad that the friends and family have some sort of closure now.

I can confirm that three sets of human remains have been recovered from Panola Mountain. I do not believe that LE has put any information out to the public yet. The OSBI and Latimer County Sheriff have contacted those close to the case.

    MI MI - Patricia Spencer, 16, & Pamela Hobley, 15, Oscoda, 31 Oct 1969

OSCODA (WJRT) - (10/31/13) - Most people are now relaxing after a night of costumes and candy, but Halloween brings back chilling memories for an Oscoda native. She was just 8 years old, coming home from trick or treating, when she learned her big sister never made it home from school that...

Yes it was match. I feel so bad for Ruth and her family, I wish the outcome would have been more positive. Now all we can do is hope that the person or persons responsible for this tragedy will be brought to justice. RIP Ruth

MI MI - Ruth Hoffman, 44, River Rouge, 30 June 1986

This is the same sad situation that happened to Ronald Norman. He went missing from an adult foster care home in Dec. 1991 and his remains were found in Lake Eerie in April 1992. He was a John Doe until 2011. Monroe and Wayne counties are so overwhelmed with not enough time or resources...

Match! MI - Monroe Co, WhtFem remains, 45-56, Dec'86 *Ruth Hoffman*

And it's official... This Doe was Ruth Hoffman. Snip: "Ruth Hoffman, who went missing out of River Rouge in June 1986, was identified last month using DNA. Acting Sgt. Jeff Pauli of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Hoffman’s remains were found in that county in December 1986."...
