Fife Jammer Locations on facebook reporting that police and fire engines are at West Sands in St Andrews....something floating in water, could be nothing! My first thought was this case.
Regardless of where he was before he disappeared, the police will know where the last sighting or last cctv image was, if he did indeed walk off towards Guardbridge, he could have been picked up in a vehicle without anyone else knowing, i heard the police say that they didn't want the leaflets...
Think the Police will be pretty certain he went that way as they will have checked the cctv in St Andrews and it is everywhere! Its not sounding like its going to be a great outcome, and i think you are right, if he simply wandered off why wouldn't he walk along the walkway on golf course side...
The previous post was very interesting, I did see that police were trying to tell people not to widen the search, as in leaflets etc and to keep it in the St Andrews area, seems they know more than they are letting on. I also have friends in Duns that are friends with the family....still...
I am from this area too, I work in and around St Andrews, I have literally heard nothing apart from what is in the papers etc and I'm amazed at the amount of people who know nothing about it.
As i went to bed last night i put the tv on to cnn for updates. There was someone discussing the pings from the sattelite. Apparently the pings that came every hour before 811am came from outside the radius of the last ping. This means if the plane did fly south then it went over Indonesia.
I...
O/T That photo of "Nessie" is actually of an elephant that escaped from a travelling circus, it was taking a dip! Love the whole myth surrounding Loch Ness. Its also a lovely spot-have you been? (Can you tell im Scottish haha)
Ah its not. Will keep my eye on it. Journo said plane was reportedly a c3-orion. Looks like its been there for around 3 hours. Sorry no more info and it will probably end up another dead end but interesting! #mh370 Pakistan appears to be trending on twitter at the moment.
According to few reports on twitter there have been search activities in the chitral mountains today. At least two helicopters and a search plane. Rumours are a huge fire was spotted there 10-12 days ago and rumours spreading 370 has been spotted there. There are a few sources tweeting this. I...
CNN now reporting that the search area in Southern Indian Ocean has been significantly reduced. Sounds like they are on to something. But then again this is CNN and it could all be denied at press conference!
If they are stating it was entered at least 12 minutes before then I would take an educated guess that this came through the last acars transmission. I don't know but would guess that they would have the whole lot of data entered?
Hopefully someone with acars knowledge can help with this.
This was false. It has been doing the rounds for about aweek now. I did have the coordinates for google maps which I can't find now. Its a plane coming into land and if you pan out you can actually see the runway up ahead.
It was stated by the C.E.O of Malaysian Airlines at a press conference that the jet had an extra 45 mins fuel. He also stated this was incase it had to be diverted to another airport.
After looking at this again...the time difference makes it all wrong. I was really hoping this was a genuine sighting but they are 3 hours behind kl so their sighting was at 910am kl time. 1 hour after the last ping.
Also I think your previous post re between the maldives and diaego garcia is...
I posted about this earlier, I have worked it out to be around 3 1/2 hours flying time to the nearest point in the corridor. I should have also taken into account the time difference. They are 3 hours behind KL which puts the sighting at 9.10am Kl time...1 hour after the last satellite ping! So...
I wondered about that. I meant to have a look and see if I could find any flights from malaysian airlines in that area. Seems very unlikely they didnt fly in that area.
I also had a question for you. If the pilots were rendered unconscious due to lack of oxygen (for whatever reason) and the...
The story the travel agent gave was that Mr Ali was back in Iran when he called her on the Thursday to book the tickets again. She also stated he had purchased tickets from her before. I agree he may never have existed but the whole thing stinks IMO.
I agree, everyone thought this was an accident until news surfaced that there were stolen passports onboard. Those passports changed the whole investigation. They apparently clear these two "no links to terrorism," within days. Then "Mr Ali" (if he ever existed) conveniently disappeared back to...
