Contacted LE in regards to "errors" in an affidavit they used to get a search warrant???? There are errors in a supposed legal document presented to a magistrate for a signature and then used to condemn a man publicly this past week??? Makes me wonder how many errors there actually are in this...

http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/julia-niswender-murder-documents-reveal-why-focus-is-on-stepdad/35069714 In this news report they seem to think that Julia was interracial dating. I wonder when someone will post a copy of the Search Warrant and Affidavit online...either intact or redacted...

I think this fits very well with what has been published recently. It's too bad that names aren't mentioned yet, but there will come a day when they will be! As everyone keeps saying, the truth will eventually come out. It certainly will, but it should prove to be a lot different than what...

"So where is the rug, Kim?" Are you saying the detectives, investigators and crime scene techs couldn't figure out the rug was part of the crime scene until 2 years later????? Seriously, if that's the case... I certainly wouldn't want this crew investigating anything!

Guess we all just have to wait and see what the outcome will be. If you read the comments under this article it sums it up rather well with the excuses being given are equivalent to saying "the dog ate my warrant"...

Good point B_S about photos NOT being saved and only in the cache! It would be rather interesting if we find out that none of the photos were saved on the computer.

It's really not that big of a number. Have you ever been shopping online? Each and every photo you encounter leaves an impression as a photo on your computer. On certain shopping websites where it gives you the option of viewing 100 - 300 items per page, you would now have 100-300 images for...

Fair enough! I do question how they could be unaware of the "supposed" division when one stemmed from the other. LE involved are not newbies to the job and neither is the Prosecutor. I think they knew they were busted when the Judge was going to force the issue this Friday.

Is this the same search warrant Detective Coppock couldn't remember signing, let alone authoring per Judge White's statements??? "I obviously expressed my irritation at how we could not know the existence of these documents, not to point the finger at the prosecution because they...

Thank you very much for posting this quote!!! There has been so much info on this thread that it's hard to sift through at times! I certainly do question why Ypsi LE wouldn't provide this Search Warrant to the courts (especially if it was shown to KT) knowing full well the judge was going to do...

If there is a Search Warrant out there dated for December 2014, it shouldn't have been an issue to present to the Court yesterday at the very least. I assume the Search Warrant would only list what LE was looking for and not the reasons why they were looking for it. The reasons would be in the...

Do you have link to the news article referencing this, or was it stated on WS by an insider that you could refer us back to? Thanks in advance.

Is Coppock the new lead detective? She has been part of the investigation of Julia's case from the beginning hasn't she?

Technically the two cases are unrelated in the eyes of the court. With statements made by the judge, it appears he is going to force the issue of compliance by Ypsi PD. Is there another reason he would instruct the defense to present this motion at the next pre-trial...

With these verified family members living over a 1000 miles away and not visiting regularly, it's hard to know exactly what they do know other than what comes down to he said/she said.

Why would an agency jeopardize their investigation into an unrelated case (at this point) in the eyes of the law and courts? Its obvious the two cases are being treated differently as Trojan is unable to gather any information regarding the *advertiser censored* case.

Why would Monroe PD be commenting on a case that is not theirs, especially to those outside the agency?

I am saying that she was at the perfect age to be finding herself and what made her happy. Being a mother of two grown children I know all too well the road traveled for kids coming into their own adulthood. My kids did plenty I wasn't aware of until much later because they knew I wouldn't...
