Thank you for rejoining us! Looking forward to seeing what new theories you are bringing here for discussion. Re-energizing in different directions couldn't come at a better time! Glad to see you back! ;-)

No problem. If they are really as good as you say they are (which I believe they are), they should have thought of it a long time ago when they took over the investigation!

No, I am not referring to a Warrant. I stated Investigative Subpoena. It is a tool available to LE in Michigan and has been for the past 20 years to encourage those who have been or are being uncooperative in an investigation. Funny thing is... you have to PROVE they are being uncooperative...

Oh I absolutely believe LE is monitoring this website and can make their own assumptions on EVERYTHING expressed here. They can clearly see the dynamics of the entire (extended included) family this way. I agree there have been many ideas expressed and a ton of opinions given as well. Thank...

Sure you care about all of this or things wouldn't have gotten this far about the pending case or all the past stories we've been told about. Activity on this thread didn't blow up again until this case hit the news and LE named a POI in Julia's murder at the same time. Were you in the...

It's a good thing we won't have to wait much longer to find out the actual truth about the rescheduling. If I were a betting man, I'd bet my check on the fact the prosecution never handed over the info in a timely fashion and there is nothing new. JMO

Earlier in Thread #3 I mentioned tools available to LE and the Prosecutor to gather information regarding a case. For the past 20 years in Michigan there has been an Investigative Subpoena available to ask for (requiring proof of necessity). Does anyone know why this has not been used???

I've not seen or heard anything further in the media regarding POI. It's rather sad how reputations can be destroyed instantly because of public comments made to turn public opinion a particular negative way. I don't think this would be the first time LE would feed information to families...

Is it wrong that he was friendly to a woman that lost a daughter to a horrible murder? Did they take Grandma's computer immediately?

Since the family had a "feeling" about Jim all along, why in the heck was it encouraged for JT, KT and the twins to move in together early on? Was it to systematically clean house and move on for other family members?

With as much as this family seems to talk, its possible that everyone that knew Julia knew about her condition! JMO

Seems pretty clear to me that if the computers weren't offered up when they had been asked for, LE simply would have served a Search Warrant and took them all!

Sorry for not being clear in my statement. I meant it didn't make sense to me that JT was on Rose's computer, especially since it has been stated numerous times he never stayed around longer than a minute.

That does not make sense to me at all! If Julia were living with Grandma at the time (at least while not at the University), it would be presumable LE would want access to the computer to see who Julia may have been in contact with via the computer as well as any other indicators of what was...

What do you consider to be baited conversations and to whom are they directed at? Is this the same lead detective that was promoted to Sargent?? He must have been pretty good at his job. I've posted a link to the news article which mentions his promotion...

I have also heard the reasons as well MIMOMMY. I have not posted what I have heard for the same reason you stated, but I will say that it is quite clear to me why none of the children have wanted to visit.

If I might ask, when is the last time you visited Michigan and how often do you come back to stay/visit with family?

It is rather stunning what people will put in writing without thought to consequences isn't it?!
