CA - 13 victims, ages 2 to 29, shackled in home by parents, Perris, 15 Jan 2018 #1

You've misunderstood me, I'm not saying it's anyone's fault other than the parents. But, some level of responsibility lies within a community to protect it's community, and this comes from those higher up to say look out for your neighbours, if you see something not right report it to your local...

CA - 13 victims, ages 2 to 29, shackled in home by parents, Perris, 15 Jan 2018 #1

I saw this news here in the UK before going to be last night, and I couldn't sleep afterwards. What a horrific vile pair of human beings. What angers me most is that these people get away with it. How can that be possible in this day and age? Neighbours thought something was off... yes...

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #2

I'm reading that she was known to SS though, not IF she was known.

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #2

To what extent was she at risk. I must have missed something in the last few days?

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #2

Whoa! Am I reading this correctly? It was known/suspected that Tia has been abused or neglected.....now does that mean the family were known to Social Services?

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

I said I was disgusted with the police, I also said they could never have prevented what happened to Tia, unless of course she was alive in the loft, which I sincerely hope she wasn't because that would be an even bigger failure than it already is. IMO it is disgusting and imo they have handled...

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

Not only am I disgusted that Tia's body has gone undetected for up to a week but SH who must have been the police's number one suspect all along, has somehow managed to do a runner right under their noses......absolutely disgraceful police work!

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

Nothing made any sense in this case, but the one thing that stood out for me was an 12 year old girl going out for the day and leaving her mobile behind! Very sad indeed, I wonder where he hid her body and how it went undetected for a week! I feel the police may have failed in a few areas...

For one, getting the story out there is crucial, 4 or 5 minutes is nothing for a missing child!!! It is not uncommon in cases like this that there is little info, but other cases have had a tonne of coverage. Madeleine McCann, very little was known, but her face was everywhere, you would switch...

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

I've just watched the interview with SH. I want to believe him, he seems genuine enough, but like the above poster says, Tia was with him for 20 hours, and he was the last person to see her and that doesn't sit right with me at all. I don't know what to think! If she got on that bus CCTV would...

The police are liaising with the police who worked on the Shannon Matthews case. I don't think this is a Shannon Matthews case though. I hope for Tia's sake it is a faked abduction. http://news.sky.com/story/970434/tia-sharp-police-liaise-with-shannon-cops From that same article it says that...

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

This is news to me Mrs Sharp claimed Tia had recently clashed with her biological father, Steven Carter, after he tried to contact her on Facebook. Mr Carter’s brother Aaron, 27, denied claims of harassment last night. Read more...

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

The last verified sighting of her was the Thursday at the Co op shop, she was with the step grandfather. Anything could have happened to her on that evening. I think something happened to her on the Thursday, I know there is a witness who says they saw her on the Friday but they could easily be...

GUILTY UK - Tia Sharp, 12, New Addington, London, 3 Aug 2012 #1

Grandmothers boyfriend has been giving different accounts to family members about the last time he saw Tia, as per Martin Brunt Sky News report just now. He said the police are puzzled by the conflicting versions of his stories. Edited to add My personal opinion on this case. The...

    2012.05.17 Doc Dump Thread

FWIW I'm more of a reader on this site than a poster but I came here because it's being reported on the UK news about the doc dumps and pics have been shown showing GZ to have sustained some injuries. I have no opinion either way on this case. At first I did believe TM was an innocent...

    Why did Madeleine 'go missing'?

It most certainly is not the 'norm' for parents to leave children at the ages of the McCann children and to learn it wasn't only the McCann's who left their children, the rest of the group also left their children. Oh and one of the children, I think the O'Brien and Tanner child, IIRC she was 18...

Casey Is NOT Safe From Double Jeopardy Laws?

I don't think Casey's case would qualify for a second trial at this stage. All the evidence they had was made available at the time of the trial, some was not allowed in court, like the video of Casey hyperventilating. I am not sure if that could be used again in a double jeopardy case because...

Casey Is NOT Safe From Double Jeopardy Laws?

Another 2 cases snipped from Wikipedia On 11 September 2006, William Dunlop became the first person to be convicted of murder after previously being acquitted. Twice he was tried for the murder of Julie Hogg in Billingham in 1989, but two juries failed to reach a verdict and he was formally...
