I listened to the YT clip and one from Brian Entin's tweet. No difference in sound quality on my device. The first dozen or so times I listened, the second voice sounded like it might have been a male, like perhaps HG. I now believe it is Maddie.
Also WRT to the latest video, it sounds like a pretty sensitive conversation they are having. They are having it openly in public in front of HG, though. Maybe the content is not as serious and relevant to the murders as it sounds.
Kaylee: "(Mads?) What did you say to Adam?!?"
Maddie: "I, I told him I knew everything."
What bothers me about this is the audio doesn't match the demeanor of the two ladies. The voice attributed to Kaylee sounds drunk and amped up. Maddie sounds drunk as well, but more matter-of-fact. On the...
Are you implying that the screaming was coming from 1122 King Rd, was heard a block away outside, and was unheard by the survivors within the same house?
Everyone has a different definition, I suppose. I work in the industry and I'm in and out of bars and restaurants of all description. I wouldn't describe most dive bars in my area as having a beer garden or patio seating. Otherwise, your description is accurate. The key characteristics I see...
Maybe that camera got the vehicle coming and going? In at 2:14, out at 3:15? The perp does X and E at 2:30. K &M hear it and frantically call J. Perp moves upstairs, calls stop. Perp speeds out.

There's nothing at all unusual about college students, male and female, wearing baseball caps on a weekend. In fact, in the college towns where I work, the majority do. The running is not all that common, but not suspicious.
I don't see it that way. I doubt they were intentionally evading cameras. They had somber work to do. There's no need to cheese for the cameras.
BTW, has it been estimatef how long they were there? If it was as brief as the video suggests, I think they have a very hot lead
That tells me that early interviews that stated E & X were at Sig Chi until much later have recently either not been corroborated or have been outright disproven, imo. Who lied?
It has been speculated that LE is still investigating the individuals that they "do not believe to be involved". If this is the case and one of them is actually guilty and leaves the country, whether it is WHG or not, this could be quite embarassing for LE. IMO, if they had evidence on any of...
Ok, I see that you are right. I only had a summary of 23andme's T&C. I found a more comprehensive version and it does: explicitly a)forbid law enforcement from using the service for investigative purposes and b)require that any sample submitted be from the submitter or someone for whom they are...
Regarding commercial DNA testing, couldn't LE just submit a sample that they are sure belongs to the perp? Sure they have their own labs, but this would enable them to get the coveted matches that any competent genealogist can trace within a week to a short list of suspects. This would require...
"they didn't have to go upstairs" I think what he's trying to say is that they only had to go upstairs if that is where the primary target was. It certainly could be the opposite, but the way he said it and context tells me it's the former. If his words are a little clunky, keep in mind, he's...
All of this leads me to believe there's a good possibility there was more than one attacker. I have two theories: lone attacker in a jealous rage or multiple attackers who I can't describe further without violating TOS
Add to that the smell. There would be no smell of decomp yet, but the voluminous amount of blood, if not cleaned up would give off a metallic odor. They probably would not immediately recognize it as blood, but it would add to their suspicions that something wasn't right.
