Thank you Mom24. This explains a lot to me about DNA databases and their use. Running BE's daughter's DNA could yield relatives of her mother, which could reveal a bit about her relationship with BE.

Mom24 - could running genealogical DNA for his daughter potentially find anyone who is a sibling to her from her father's side?

As far as Ancestry is concerned... I have searched all aliases on Ancestry and found no reference to a CA death certificate for the man who died in prison in 2010. That being said, a social security death record may never have been created, not knowing his real name or SS#.

I think that the key to learning Evans' identity lies with his daughter. There is not sufficient DNA to run his through familial DNA databases, but perhaps there is for her. This could potentially identify other relative of Evans, AND the girl's Mother and her family. I believe that finding...
