    IN - Abigail Williams, 13, & Liberty German, 14, Delphi, 13 Feb 2017 #9

From watching the press conference, I got the vibe that the police had a suspect on their radar, and were seeking the tip or tips that would nail the perpetrator for once and for all. I noticed how the officers really personalized their appeal for tips with the repeated emphasis on "You." With...

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 Jun 2014 - #28

Just reading about the shenanigans over the Victim Impact Statements is giving me a headache and an intense feeling of rage. I can't imagine how the family is feeling about this s***show.

IMO, I don't even know why the defence even bothers with cross-examination. The evidence overwhelmingly points to DG. DG=Damn Guilty :furious:

It would be interesting to know if the neighbours heard anything when DG broke into the Liknes residence and injured and/or killed his victims. I looked at Google maps, and the houses were very close together, and the street looks fairly narrow. Also, the houses and what appear to be...

All of the above. Also, I think that DG killed Nathan to get back at Alvin. DG was so consumed by his grudge against Alvin that by killing Alvin's grandson, on some twisted psychological level, DG was able to destroy Alvin twice.

DG had to do at least a rudimentary clean up of the truck before he showered and headed off to his appointment. He likely performed a quick recon of the Liknes' neighbourhood to check for any police activity, in addition to enjoying the thrill of returning to the scene of the crime.

I have heard that head wounds tend to bleed a lot, whether the wound is non-fatal or fatal. It's a possibility that at least one of the victims left the Liknes residence still alive. I wonder if any traces of the blood clotting powder were found at the house? DG likely wore a Tyvek suit, a...

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 Jun 2014 - #23

I don't think these murders are his first, a person doesn't get to be over 50 years old and suddenly decide to be a killer. There's likely many a cold case in his wake. Did DG frequent the DTES during his time in Vancouver? So many unanswered questions...

I would like to know whether DG had any connections with the Picton farm. Because his time in Vancouver overlaps with the nefarious deeds that went on at that place.

I'm guessing DG used the Posey Straps to drag his incapacitated victims into/out of the bed of the truck.

Cut-Off Wheels are used with power tools for grinding. :notgood: Dental picks to go with his dental chair and dental anesthetic. Lock it up and throw away the key...

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 Jun 2014 - #23

It sounds as if DG was in stalker mode for years. I wouldn't be surprised if DG didn't consider himself bullied by Alvin Liknes. Hence, the bullying documents.

I can't find anything that mentions whether the farm was once a working farm, or still is a working farm. This article from The Globe and Mail describes the crops grown nearby, and states that the Garland family has lived there for more than 40 years...

I just did a quick Google search, and yes that powder is used on dogs. Petco carries a brand for dogs. I couldn't find the exact match to the Blood Stop brand found on the DG farm, but this size container would be used for livestock such as cattle, horses, sheep, pigs, etc. You can even...

Another thought, because DG had a history of burglary, I wonder if he broke into medical/dental/veterinary offices to obtain some of his supplies? Perhaps he used some of those keys to break into residences to obtain some of the female clothing and footwear. I sure hope the respective...

    Deceased/Not Found Canada - Alvin, 66, & Kathy Liknes, 53, Nathan O'Brien, 5, Calgary, 30 Jun 2014 - #22

This case has so many echos of Canada's most notorious crimes. With the chloroform and kidnapping, Bernardo and Homolka come to mind. Victims destroyed on a farm: Robert Picton. Cross-dressing and fetishism: Russell Williams. Incineration, sifting through ashes; and a truck bearing...
