If you go right back to page 2 or 3 of this thread, a member had found his flat online months ago, good sleuthing!
What a very sad case. Poor India. :(
I don't mean to be pedantic, but a couple of years ago all the separate Scottish police forces merged to become one force - Police Scotland.
Strathclyde Police no longer exists, however Karen and Paige's cases were both dealt with by the Glasgow Division of Police Scotland.
There was mention on the facebook forum that she had a phone but it was "cut off" from the network and she just used Wi-Fi I wonder if Kirsty didn't have a contract as being deaf she wouldn't be making phone calls, she could just use facebook and whatsapp on Wi-Fi? Although she might need 4G...
This girl, Sarah Goldie, entered the Clyde near the Broomielaw, two men jumped in after her to try and save her, and it took a month for her body to be found.

I don't think it would be easy for her to fall in, especially with her being short.
Weird story but I used to have a hamster, and when it died I couldn't bury it because I didn't have a garden, so I decided I would put him in the river in a box. My plan was to set him in and let him drift down...
Hi everyone, have been following this case since it's been in the news, but only just found the thread.
I have only just moved away from Glasgow.
Seems so strange that she would head towards Broomielaw. I've been on many many Glasgow nights out and that's just a weird direction to wander...
I know it's perhaps pedantic, but if SB is being accused of murdering KH on the 15th then surely LH's charges should be "...between 12th and 15th" ? As they don't believe she was alive on the 16th?
I'm 24 and certainly when I was at school we had two police officers come in and talk to us about internet safety. This was back when typically you had one family computer in the home and no one had internet on their mobiles. I would like to hope that the police still continue to do this...
Phone might have needed charged and then there might have been a pin code on it etc. Then maybe they waited until early Monday to make arrests cos they knew the suspects would be at home then?
IMO It's in no one's interest for DD and JI to go to prison.
No prior records, both worked for a living, both contributed to society (even if they did skive a bit).
Sending them to prison just means the tax payer has to pay to keep them off the street, when they're not actually any danger to...
"Butter wouldn't melt" is a common phrase used in Britain to describe someone as innocent and pleasant, like you'd say it about someone's cute little child "awk look at the wee girl, butter wouldn't melt!"
I think that we have to remember that not everyone has the same attitude towards police. Many people are extremely untrusting of them. I was always brought up to respect and appreciate the police, but I used to work in a cafe and there were members of staff who would make efforts to avoid...
