I was so shocked by this story... Her attorney replied stating: "Although, many of the allegations are exaggerated, she is extremely remorseful for what she allowed to occur in her presence". REALLY?? She doesn't say she's remorseful for her own actions but for what she allowed...

Typically, the homeless and "drunks" would hang out in the downtown area, people would be more likely to give them money there and the types of bar/liquor establishments they would frequent would be closer to the downtown area. NDSU is quite a way from downtown...over a mile. Bars close here...
It could be that the comment merely meant he was going home for the weekend with one of the baseball players and going to be hanging out that weekend. If we take it a bit less literally, it could mean in the next few days vs the next few minutes/hours. Just a thought

I thought the decision was made to take the boys (cousins of the shooter) to a different hospital so the family's of the female victims wouldn't be in the same location as the shooters relatives. At the time, I'm sure nobody was expecting the amount of forgiveness they were showing that early...
There are stages of grief. I think the community is remembering the shooter the way he was prior to Friday and not what he became. I wonder...did he take the gun or any weapon to school on previous day and change his mind?
