It seems like it could be. I have never heard of Cops Cove but I'm not a fisherman.
It seems like there have been more bodies there over the years than I realized.
The Maryland State Police just issued a statement that Phylicia's body has been released to her family. The autopsy determined the manner of death to be homicide. The cause of death was determined but is not being released at this time due to ongoing investigation. No one has been charged at...
The Susquehanna River travels for hundreds of miles and crosses through three states. New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland. These other two bodies were found in Pennsylvania. I was referring to no bodies being found in the Maryland area of the Susquehanna.
The link is working again. Lots of good info on Mr. Harper. "Mrs. Harper told investigators a relative in the Harrisburg, PA area had called to tell her Darryl Harper had checked himself into a hospital in East Penn, PA, on the Susquehanna River, on March 25, 2011, requesting help with mental...
Actually this is a view looking north. The debris you see to the right is really rock and vegetation. The area PB was found is above the dam and the debris field is pretty close to the roadway. Perhaps that's why it can't be seen in this picture.
He can't/won't say. I do know that he's been out on the river with LE from Baltimore combing the area for any clues. He hasn't said anything more concrete than that. Also, right after PB was found, the river was running very fast and high and it was cold and blustry. This could potentially...
I have been catching up on the thread today. Someone asked about flooding in the area recently due to heavy rains and melting snow. The only flooding we saw was on some of the low lying roads. I believe that about 18 gates have been open at the dam at its peak this winter.
PB's body was...
I can't imagine a girl and guy from Baltimore taking a ride up to Conowingo. There are so many other places closer if you were just looking to go to a park. In order to dump her body north of the dam (where she was found) you would have to travel further north and then find your way down to...
The dam is on a heavily travelled road. It is located on Route 1 and it is the site of a Hydro Electric Plant. There are workers there daily and probably thousands of drivers a day. You can easily view the lake on the north side of the dam when you travel over it. As for the south side...
I haven't heard of any bodies turning up before in the 15 years we've lived here. Going through the dam doesn't seem to be an easy task. She was found in the retaining lake to the north side of the dam. There hasn't been much info about his body other than to say they were both found nude...
Hi All, I don't post very often. I tend to just lurk. However, that being said, I live in the next town down from where PB was found. The dam is only about 4 miles upstream for where I live. If anyone has any specific questions relating to the dam, the river, etc, I may be able to answer them...
Have there been any threats against any other family members? That would certainly explain the police protection surrounding the family and the apparent lack of comments from them.
wow, I remember a case that sounded like these same "circumstances". They made a TV movie out of it. The husband and wife were driving off some desolate part of the road when they thought they had a flat tire or something. And the husband got out of a car. He had gotten hit over the head with a...
I am new at this so be patient if this has already been addressed.. We don't know if the fax was sent that morning and SIL was sent to retrieve it or it he remembered that he left it out and needed her to get it/hide it for him. Also, I read somewhere that his cell phone was dead, if so, how...
