    GUILTY UK - Kayleigh Haywood, 15, Ibstock, Leicestershire, 13 Nov 2015 - #2

There has been a film made called "Kayleigh's Love Story". You can watch the trailer here https://leics.police.uk/categories/kayleighs-love-story and there is information about screenings. I believe it'll be available online from January in fill. It is a reconstruction on parts of the last 2...

I think a minimum of 35 years is very fitting. I thought Harlow should have had more, as I think (could be wrong) that with good behaviour it could be less?

LH gets 12 years. I thought it may have been more 15.

I hope that they both get lengthy sentencing. Looks like Beadman will be getting life. I expect Harlow 10-15 years because of the false imprisonment charge. I am not suprised by how they are being treated by other prisoners. I always thought that people on charges related to children tended...

I dread my children growing up in the social media age. Hopefully what happened to poor Kayleigh saves some other children from the same fate.

I think I read somewhere in the Kayleigh Haywood group that they want to set up a charity to do that. I think it's called Kayleigh's Kause. I certainly will be telling my children about what happened to Kayleigh and I hope that it hits home. I'm sure that even if what happened to her prevents...

Having read the trials each day I think it's going to be hard for the jurors. As LHs barrister said what he's done is wrong and you are disgusted by what he's done. But he's pleaded guilty to those things. I think it'd be hard to decide on the false imprisonment alone. I am not 100% sure on...

I think that because he let his friend see Kayleigh's bag, that to me hints that he was unaware that she came to harm. I don't think LH is telling the whole truth, but I can buy his story of being reluctant to get himself into rouble when he knew she was missing. Obviously not the right thing to...

I agree mrazda71... not sure I quite believe that someone who admits to raping and murdering a school girl would try and "protect her" as it were from LH, unless it was because he wanted her for himself. Talking of LH I'm not sure I buy his "heavy sleeper" excuse. I know after a drink or two...

Yes there are still unanswered questions. I'm not decided either way with the false imprisonment yet. Like I say - there's still some questions or inconsistencies that I haven't been able to make up my mind.

So far from the updates it seems that in places SB "backs up" what LH said: that he was asleep and Kayleigh was gone when he woke up. Just read that he admitted to raping her in the gravel car park. Poor girl :(

With regard to news coverage, I am suprised there's not been more as it was national headlines in November (I remember it being Paris and then Kayleigh was the next story). I think what Cherwell said makes sense though. Because they pleaded guilty, there's less to report or to sensationalise.

I knew what you meant. Was agreeing with you, just didn't communicate that very well in my post :)

It says Kayleigh wasn't the only one he'd been messaging under 16. So it's not really his first grooming offence. He's just been caught this time. It's sad that poor Kayleigh had to go through all that for it to come to an end. Before reading the trial, I thought perhaps LH had been a bit...

Latest update says SB had a bite mark on his wrist (KH defending herself?). His reasoning was that "he was hungry". That gave me shivers (even though I'm assuming it was a poor excuse and not the truth).

http://m.leicestermercury.co.uk/Kayleigh-Haywood-Monday-s-LIVE-trial-updates/story-29394235-detail/story.html The link for today's live updates for anyone who wishes to read. Still seems to be concentrating on LH. I wonder if this is because it makes sense in a chronological way. It's still...

I've just caught up on the thread. I too am a bit confused with the time line. Hopefully it'll get clarified as the case goes on. Also I think it awful that SB gets out of the trial. Part of his punishment should be to face the families as they hear what he's done. Clearly he shows no...

It says when they returned she'd been sick, so that's what I assumed. From that I wonder if it went sour once Beadman returned with Harlow? I'd rather not think about how if she was alone she could have escaped (if that tale of running out of Coke is true) :( unless they locked her in.

It sounds like LH has tried to get girls to his house before, but it's unclear if Kayleigh was the first to actually go. It's made me feel very uncomfortable thinking that Kayleigh may not have been the only one.... If they hadn't have been caught I dread to think of the possibilities (as it...

Reading today's live updates, I feel that at least he cannot contact any more vunerable young girls. It is tragic that it's taken a loss of life for that to happen, though. As the case goes on I'm sure it'll be revealed how this meeting led to the terrible outcome of Kayleigh losing her life...
