Just glancing at the towed vehicle (looks like a Ford to me), and the one in the town square looks like a GMC/Chevrolet of some sort. I could be wrong though, hard to say without really zooming in and comparing models.
Also, difficult to tell on the guys in room vs video of town square. Looks...
It's going to drive me crazy if they can't rule this guy in/out of the Delphi case. I guess we'll have to be patient and wait, but I gotta weird feeling about this dude.
Yeah, I'd like to see video for sure. I didn't dig much, but saw a few pics from a few years ago.
He's definitely a possibility IMO. Crazy fortuitous that the young lady got away (let go). Makes ya wonder...
This is possible and I suppose would line up with some of Carter's statements (although there's sometimes a fog of war around what he states) - even if some of what Carter says you hear in many other cases such as 'hiding in plain sight' etc.
However, it seems very risky to 'inject' yourself...
Yep I remember MP saying it, but wondered if it was said by anyone in LE at all? I know there was a lot of anecdotal stuff out there that night (13th).
The 'around town' part makes me think it's possible that it was, but it could just be the way he said it meaning the phone was still powered...
I know a little about it, but not enough to be any kind of authority on it. I know many cases use it as evidence, but I also know it's not always reliable in terms of specific location.
Yeah that's it - I thought I saw him in a video saying that but I just couldn't remember exactly. So much media out there...
That's what he probably meant (getting away from scene quickly), but I thought there is a possibility that if he knew the phone was somehow moving around after the...
Good question. Seems highly risky and I can't think of a good answer unless somehow the suspect thought he'd make a mistake by trying to dispose of it somewhere else. Perhaps he just knew he could at some point later? Does anyone remember someone around the investigation (possibly Leazenby) that...
I've gone back an forth on the fence trying to decide if they have a suspect, but I'm beginning to strongly believe they do. I went back and listened to each of Carter's videos and they're starting to make more sense to me now. Maybe I've got some confirmation bias going on who knows...
Is...
I think so too...
I was really hoping by now a family member or co-worker would recognize the clothing or something else unique about the person in the video.
I still watch it sometimes and even go frame by frame to see if I can recognize what's under that blue jacket. It's just really hard...
I've got a question that has probably been answered, but is there a known list of people that knew Abby and Libby were headed to the park/bridge area?
Obviously Libby's grandparents, Derrick, and Kelsi (hopefully I spelled that correctly). Did they tell Abby's mom? Anyone else?
Also, they were...
Yep, the situation with the Forest Hill police and the motel is very odd to me. I agree with all your points. I mean, you have a guy that 'fits' description with a girl and you walk away? I think that's crazy. The FWPD had to know about this too, why weren't they there soon after? The questions...
