ive said it before....in her mind Sarah is an only child, her mother only birthed her. What she said makes complete sense to me... must be a European thing... we don't acknowledge half bro/sis as part of main family.

Yes but Karen only had her so she's saying she's Karen's only child. Like I said previously half siblings/ step siblings are not considered part of the family unit. They are outcasts. I've seen it many many times in my family.

But she is an only child! I don't find her wording odd at all. I think it may be a cultural thing... Europeans etc don't really acknowledge blended families...I talk from personal experience
