GUILTY UK - Logan Mwangi, 5, found dead in Wales River, Bridgend, 31 July 2021 *arrests, inc. minor* #5

Wow, the Mirror really put everything they knew in one article. Surprised the verdict is back so quickly, although having seen the body worn footage I can understand that the jury must not have needed long to discuss if AW was putting it on or not. The timeline is very interesting - it looks...

UK - Logan Mwangi, 5, found dead in Wales River, Bridgend, 31 July 2021 *arrests, inc. minor* #4

This is what I was thinking when I was musing on how much the baby has been mentioned earlier. If she was likely to be reunited or the baby was being cared for by her mum, for example, she would have a very powerful motivation to get off. I can see how she might care less now that she knows...

It’s going to be interesting summing up - presumably the boy’s team are going with lack of evidence, JC’s idea seems to be that AW did something that night that they all covered up and AW has gone for JC did the whole thing while she was asleep and she couldn’t have anticipated it. I guess the...

If anyone ever kills me, I’d want Ms Rees in my corner. I think my favourite is when AW said she had nothing to lose and Ms Rees pointed out that she’s on trial for murder, she has a huge amount to lose. I wonder how much the baby is being mentioned in court? WalesOnline seems to have taken...

UK - Logan Mwangi, 5, found dead in Wales River, Bridgend, 31 July 2021 *arrests, inc. minor* #4

The poster who said that she wouldn’t like being challenged was dead on. My personal feeling is that she’s going for coercive control as a defence but I doubt that was the case. Which makes it worse for women who really are in coercive, controlling relationships, having their situations used...

I imagine she still saw her father after the divorce.

The paramedics talk about rigor mortis here: Jury shown video of PC finding boy dead in river - BBC News I don’t know what to make about the affair with a man, may well be AW trying to humiliate JC.

GUILTY UK - Diane Stewart, 47, found dead, Bassingbourn, Cambridgeshire, 25 June 2010 *arrest in 2020*

I don’t know if anyone will remember me from the threads around Helen’s murder trial but I was so pleased to see this news today, I had always assumed poor Diane would get lost in the “probably” and never have justice for herself. I feel really touched somehow that her generous organ donation...

Found Deceased UK - Lindsay Birbeck, 47, Accrington, 12 Aug 2019 *Arrest*

I don’t think that’s at all likely. Police questioning is very different in this country, this summarises it: How the UK Police Interview Suspects - Innocence Project With him being a child he will have had very comprehensive legal support and appropriate breaks etc too.

    GUILTY UK - Helen Bailey, 51, Royston, 11 April 2016 #11

Been thinking of Helen a lot around this tragic anniversary. I do hope IS is never free again, glad to hear this financial news. I hope his sons are ok.

What a surprise that Mr Elsey has something to say! I wonder how much help entomology is in very cold conditions? I know nothing of the science really.

GUILTY UK - Celine Dookhran, Kidknapped, Raped and Murdered & a Survivor, London, July 2017

GUILTY UK - Mylee Billingham, 8, murdered, West Midlands, 20 Jan 2018

It’s so sad. I wonder about a fit of rage and lack of impulse control.

Another one not forgetting here. It’s still so senseless and sad.

GUILTY Uk - Emile Cilliers Accused Of Tampering W/ Wife's Parachute, Wiltshire, 5 April 2015

I missed all this. Ye gods, what a farce. Although on the whole I am surprised that juries so often seem to manage to conduct themselves so well and reach verdicts. 12 strangers usually wouldn’t be able to agree on what to order from a takeaway! Was one of the discharged jurors the foreperson...

Maybe they had a fight? I jest but it is odd. It must be super stressful for them all.

If nothing else, GE’s actions have made me double check with my husband that he won’t talk to the papers if I was ever arrested for something.

I expect the inquest will shed some light on this stuff.

GUILTY Uk - Emile Cilliers Accused Of Tampering W/ Wife's Parachute, Wiltshire, 5 April 2015

They’ll have to retrial if they can’t reach a verdict, won’t they? I would think the judge would accept a majority verdict over that happening.
