Actually they can. I am military and I've been athletic all my life. I, as a guy wear 3/4 Nike leggings whenever I work out. They are more comfortable and increase blood flow especially to people to hate running like myself. I often see girls wear shorts and 3/4 or full leggins underneath...

Honestly it is not that odd. I do not have kids but if I did and I suddenly had cops at my door my first instinct would be to get my kids somewhere safe. I once lived in an interesting part of Cali and opened a door to 5 police officers (2 not in uniform but badges on their neck) all with...

Im not saying they are not telling the family nothing but it’s not much. When you can’t deliver a timeline that’s a concern. You don’t have to give a full time line but up to a certain time. Dont deny the red shirt, interviews we know happened etc. it’s just not good practice. You can...

If I was a father and my daughter was missing and everyday in my daily brief I got anything like the PC. I would hire a private investigator. I understand protecting info but this tactic does more harm than good. Maybe a PI is something the family should consider. I can’t imsgine what he is...

Officially lost faith in this LE. I’ve never once watched a case where the LE would give zero information...timeline, tip info, literally anything. The media got smart trying to get the father up there you could tell he was frustrated and trying to control himself. Either LE has evidence that...

Exactly. If LE is moving on something solid...the last thing you need or want us a dog and pony show to watch your every move. If you do find something the hope is to keep media and attention away for respect for the victim and family and for investigation purposes.

Found Deceased IA - Mollie Tibbetts, 20, Poweshiek County, 19 Jul 2018 #10

No when I say distraction...news media and public attention is diverted away from LE. My feeling is they have had solid leads and info from her digital devices. I think the hope was they assumed they might find something quickly but as of now they now have volunteers helping as well. I think...

Not liking this search...seems something has happened. I would expect something big in the next 24 hours. I hope I’m wrong but I do not think it’s the outcome we are all hoping for. I hope I’m wrong

I don’t disagree. Going off my initial post a couple threads ago. I feel the LE knows the end result and the details they have support that. But Clearly doesn’t know? They are not releasing any information to the media yet asking for leads and tips, suddenly having regularly PC’s, and if...

Found Deceased IA - Mollie Tibbetts, 20, Poweshiek County, 19 Jul 2018 #10

Sometimes this is done on purpose for a number of reasons. Could be looking at reaction of individual(s) and see if they are willing to allow an open search. Not having a warrant means nothing because if they found evidence of a crime they would have detained said individual and immediately...

I agree with OP. I like that I was not familiar with the family past mother and father <modsnipped> First I’ll say I have never been in this situation so couldn’t imagine the emotions or feelings but watching it without the knowledge of who is who <modsnipped> I’m sure LE knew of this PC and...

While you are not wrong in that they can tell us what they want and how they want...but they need to be careful if that is true. They are asking the public and family to trust them yet deliberately lying? If we look at that scenario, what is the end game in doing so? Tactics generally through...

I am sorry but no. If they were actually doing that they would only be insulting themselves, media, and general public. Tactics are one thing...purposely trying to look inept is another.

Mollie Tibbetts, University of Iowa student, missing: A timeline of events Not sure if the if the above link has been posted but its on Fox News web site now. Breakdown of the time line from what has been out so far. What I find strange is LE refuses to comment in any way on the timeline yet...

I often read and do not post but I think this situation is quite odd. I do not agree with LE tactic thus far as it is literally do nothing to advance the case in a positive manner regardless of what they know. I do not think they have a POI but they might have a potential POI in mind. If they...

Understood and I agree for the most part. The only issue I see would be if LE doesn't have anything and really are stumped. If that's the case than solving this case the more time goes on seems unlikely though no impossible. I do agree with your points though. Just hope they get it done and...

I've said it multiple times...i think LE knows a lot more than we think. Before even naming a POI/suspect you must have clear evidence and a legit working theory that is backed by the evidence. If you push early you could lose the case and suspect/justice all together. I think LE has worked...
