The closest convenience stores in the area would be on Gloucester Street, which is the same street the Post Office is on. There are no convenience stores South of the location, several North though.

London and Ellis streets are not the best to be walking on JMHO. Ellis St is one block over from Union Street which has the large Victorian homes. In this area of town (downtown) one street will be the Victorian Homes and the next street is very low income.

There is nothing in the papers about the arrest this morning, but on the news it stated the mother and sister of Elkins was arrested at 5:00am this morning for apparently lieing to police officers/investigators. This is really beginning to be racial and I am concerned about riots.
