I think it may just be a case of him being found not particularly far from where he left the mustang. I would think that if he was "on the run" or really trying to not be found, he would have tried to get a considerable distance away from the mustang. JMO

I'm not too familiar with the maps, but I think you must be looking at the wrong fire station. I believe I found the correct one on a map the other day. It is right on hwy 378 on the south side of the road. I believe the approx 10 miles east from keith drive is correct.
