Well, as awful and brutal as this murder is, I am somewhat relieved to know that it wasn't a saw or some of the other suggestions written here. I hope this is the lead that catches the person(s) that did this to Kenzi :(
I am looking forward to hear Cindys testimony. I imagine it will be a very difficult day for her as both the grandmother of Caylee, and the Mother of Casey. The hearing cant come soon enough, as is the norm with this case :)

The police in Aruba will search two areas this week in hopes of finding Natalee Holloway's body. Van der Sloot remains the prime suspect in the 2005 Aruba...
Me too :) I of course apologized for the initial OT where I asked if such a thread existed. I should have known it would spiral WAY out THERE though.
It would be nice for everyone to know what to expect during these pre trial hearings and the upcoming trial. It isnt all Law and Order/CSI...
From what I can tell thus far, yes in Florida it is a salary position, sorry for the thinking out loud :)
ETA: I read "state attorneys" and can not find the link now, but upon deeper thought processing have come to the conclusion that they must have meant public defenders who are aslo "state...

I do not have a preference to be honest and I have worked for both the prosecution and defense and also independantly for clients. Neither side is as cut and dry as most think either. To judge their ethics based on which side of court they are sitting is, in my opinion, quite foolish. Each have...

Well, to be honest, that is why I asked.
Here, we have directions(a manual persay) that sets out the role of the SA. It is to seek justice in the purest form, it is not to advocate for the victim(as only one example of the confusion/distress that I find here in regards to legal aspects/roles...
