As a Mom of a WSU student, this is so hard for me to watch. She is often in Moscow, several days a week and I'm just gut punched on how close to home this is and how it can happen anywhere. Thinking of these families right now! Gut wrenching!

I agree! I thought the way Dr Phil phrased it was confusing. I took Kaines answer to mean that he saw the emails after the fact (when LE showed them to him) but he had no knowledge of them prior to that. It was "news to him" that he should have known about them earlier. Very awkward...

Looks like they updated their story on KPTV and no mention of the 2014 date. So looks like it was sloppy reporting yet again! The abatement is definitely 9 months and not 2 years.

I'm very confused about the dates now. MCSO and DA delayed it for 9 months so that matches the Aug. 1st date mentioned in Kantor's ruling. So what's the 2 year delay "supposedly" filed by DY's attorney? I was hoping to get some clarity on that today. Wish Rosenthal would make a statement.

It could very well be poor reporting...wouldn't be the first time. :furious: But I think we might know more when the ruling is released today. DY did say to the reporter that she too is hopeful that the new leads are what they've been praying for.
