Reading your good summation has reminded me that at least we know that law enforcement visited the apartments with a dog. There was quite a spread about it in the local and student newspapers. IIRC we weren't able to discern whether it was a dog sniffing for drugs or a body. Also IIRC this was...

Yes, from the Indy Star: "The information I have from the registrar's office is that Daniel Messel earned an associate in arts degree in general arts in May 1999," Ball State spokesman Greg Wright said. "He completed his degree through the prison program when Ball State taught classes at...

I just read a comment on the page I linked above about DM's violence. A woman who has known him since he was a teenage. I read the following quote and it triggered a thought: "He WAS ALWAYS like a wild animal stalking his prey." If DM is responsible for Lauren, he may have been quiet these...

Thank you, Keylime, likewise! I hope all is well with you. Just as I thought, the article you linked states that divers searched Lake Monroe and apparently the others were volunteers on foot. Now that I've learned even more about DM and his criminally violent temper, he doesn't seem the type...

Daniel Messel's ex-girlfriend outlines history of anger, abuse. http://www.wthr.com/story/28925718/daniel-messels-ex-girlfriend-outlines-history-of-anger-abuse "If you have a female who was dating him and you saw her, she usually had something wrong with her. Black eyes, bruises on her face...

Hi, all. It's nice to see familiar names and activity here. I didn't realize Lauren's thread was still open. I came back via Hannah. I've very little time these days to be on board but will try to keep up and share what may (or not) be pertinent. I'm recalling the Harley Davidson event in...

I'm recalling the Harley Davidson event in Brown County for Lauren. Her parents were there and her uncle rode. It was well attended. The riders rode through the hills and hollers, stopping on their way to raise awareness about Lauren. This did not take place in any other area. Here's what I...

Hi, long time no see. I sure hope this leads us to Lauren. Does anyone recall if Lake Lemon was searched? It's so close to where Hannah was found. If not I sure hope they do now. Too late to stick around but I hope to drop in tomorrow.

Keylime, I've never heard of the video. I will endeavour to watch it. The title is so telling. :tyou:

Very good and sounds like an accurate, realistic depiction. I'd like to add--and I am remiss for not mentioning it in my other post about Lauren ("4 hours later...") that I still believe it possible she was ruffied.

My take on the post with the panties is that the original commenter was being dramatic. I guarantee you that on any given day you could walk that neighborhood and find panties. I know the proprietor of a business downtown on the Bloomington square. In the alley nearby he always sees beer and...

I don't believe it was for security reasons and even if it was, the effect of drugs and alcohol consumed since leaving Smallwood would cancel out rational thinking four hours later.

In addition to what BX2 said, this age group moves in packs and rarely goes anywhere, especially the young women, alone. My own personal opinion, or story, if you will, is that CR let JR know of his designs on Lauren and asked JR to ask her to come over. And most any young woman in Lauren's...

Yeah, the sexual assaults and rapes around here really do fly under the radar. I don't know if the local Bloomington paper publishes them but the IDS does and does so consistently. Here is link to IDS article about the most recent one: http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.aspx?id=95903.

Totally. They did not simply leave her somewhere thinking she was "bad off" and would "sober up and make her way home." They left her because they played a role in her condition and were unwilling to take responsibility for it by doing the right thing: calling 911.

This is quite plausible and thanks for sharing. IMO JR and/or MB would need to be highly motivated to encourage CR to leave her in the alley. Indication of an OD or unconscious Lauren would have been enough to do that. CR could have been doing this when MB says he was in bed. If CR was in fact...

I'm not giving up but I'm reminding myself of the disappearances and murders of two local women: Jill Behrman and Crystal Grubb. LE has not solved Crystal's case. Rumor has it they know who did it but they don't have evidence. There is little mystery, little that is unknown about her murder...

Yes, watch the video and you'll hear him say it. I associate it with the rumor I heard about a "Hispanic" guy dogging her at Sports, offering her coke.

My take on remote viewing is that it simply requires the viewer to use a different part--and more of--the brain (e.g., more frontal lobe) than what the majority of us use, enabling the view to see beyond. It's quantum physics rather than Newtonian. And when are people going to catch on?!
