Here's one link. I'm still not 100% he was some avid hunter. Who knows?

The only way I think the duck hunting aspect plays into anything is as a ruse to explain things like guns, or camo cloth or whatever else might need an explanation. I'm not sure it even matters, but I don't think he was doing a lot of duck hunting.
Something just seems off about the entire duck hunter thing. The most obvious being you can't duck hunt year round. At the right time of year, it might be the case that a duck hunter would attract little attention. It would also depend on if a certain area was permitted for hunting. I just feel...
It's often said that "a grade-school teacher knew," meaning that early on a teacher or other person in that type of position recognized some form of deviant behavior because they see so many kids. And yes, I also believe that some people are born with this type of darkness in them.
The fact that an arrest was made after about a year or so of concerted work by LE just begs the question of how much sooner this guy would have been caught if there weren't so much corruption within SCPD for years. Thank goodness this is moving in a positive direction.
This. Exactly! People generally see themselves as more far discerning and analytical than they actually are. We think and assume our own family members wouldn't be a serial killer, but how do you know?
We don't know the details, but it doesn't sound like the parents found the items. It sounds like some items were found, and BL/RL ID'd whatever it was that was found.

That article is dated December 06, 2019 12:46 PM. Were you trying to reference a newer article? They haven't ID'd the body found on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday, AFAIK.
With you 100%, but I guess my thing is the time that passed from when it's believed she was killed to the time she was found. It's possible they do have witness statements and someone did see/hear something. I'm just surprised there's been no peep of anything on social media.
Honestly, I don't know why someone hasn't posted something on social media about hearing or seeing something at the dispersed camping area in WY. Any noises, shouting. commotion, gun shots, screams, anything. What are peoples' thoughts on why no witness has come forward? And also, why haven't...
See, this is what I've been thinking. While "in no world" would LE ask the parent to join in a search, there may be other reasons to do this. Ostensibly, it's to have CL assist in the search. Alternatively, it's a way to separate the parents. Totally with you on this! Get one of them talking...
