Do we know for sure who had access to KC's phone after her mom picked her up? This is what bothers me the most. LA says at one point that he saw KC on her phone in the garage. Someone sent the text messages out to inform everyone of caylees disappearance. Was it Tony? If LE took KC to get her phone and didn't pick up the rest of her stuff this was a huge mistake on their part. Also if they let KC have her phone or laptop back after they arrived on the scene this was another huge mistake. These things were evidence! The car should have been sealed off as evidence also considering the smell that was so overwhelming. No one should have had access to the car, phone or laptop until LE had forensics on it!

Casey went to the house between June 20th and 27th to get some clothes.

She opened the trunk to place the clothes in there. That makes me think she scrubbed that trunk very well, just not able to eliminate the odor.

It sounds like George played a sneak attack on her as she was putting her clothes in the trunk and she spit venom at him with 'here's your effin gas cans' to keep him far away from the car to keep him from smelling the stench.

Hasn't "sources" said that there were hairs and "signs of decomp" in the vehicle? I took that to mean decomp fluids and those would hold the smell for quite a while in a confined space.

Yep -
just like cigarette smoke smells stays in a car so does the decomp smell
its almost like it bonds to fabrics and soft surfaces .

What is up with these people relating time by how many songs played on the radio? Heh

My son used to do that when he was like 5 years old. Same as when we used to go somewhere and was not good with time frame reference yet he would want to know how long it was going to take to get there I could tell him about one Masters of the Univers movie and a half of a Roger Rabit.
Geesh. and we are in college.

Not sure but my oh was the first to hold my youngest because I took a fit of shaking after epidural and was scared she would shake right out of my arms lol, so it could be any reason why.

Me too! Those epidurals are the best but I too was unable to hold my first born because I was shaking like a leaf!

I have always wondered if that is what KC did and therefore why she didn't hold Caylee first. However it has also occurred to me that since KC lied all that time about being pregnant, that had her pregnancy never been found out, she may have dumped her baby in the trash or elsewhere.

not sure where to post this, but I do remember in the interview that LA said that Cindy was the first to hold Caylee when she was born, not KC. Does anyone know WHY? I had a friend who refused to hold her baby after it was born because she hurt her too much (it was all about her). What was the case with KC?

when my first was born they handed him to my mom then she gave him to his father. they did not give him to me for almost 30 minutes since I was "busy" (delivering the placenta evidently :waitasec:)

....I remain rather bitter about that to this very day. it was rather heartless of them not to give me my baby. just sayin'.

Ack!

I just can't get past this.

Lee and Casey are standing around a death funked car, discussing the smell as if it was another normal every day conversation?

So, when did you smell this.
It was absolutely on mom's birthday but progressively got worse.
Ok so you say there were squirrels..

Ughh! Rawr!

I feel like I could have a mass production in an upward type projectile fashion.

My son used to do that when he was like 5 years old. Same as when we used to go somewhere and was not good with time frame reference yet he would want to know how long it was going to take to get there I could tell him about one Masters of the Univers movie and a half of a Roger Rabit.

Lol.. Cute.

LA red Flags
Red Flag
The white card about the size of an ID card that was in Casey's wallet that was snatched by the LE person that was there that night. It had to be something that this person recognized from where they were in the room. Shat could that have been? I do not remember LA saying that this person was sitting down with then when they starting going through the stuff so I am to assume from a standing position somewhere in the room.
The fact that LE left the room for a short period of time and was not watching when the family dumped all of the stuff out to go through it and the fact that nothing was documented as to what it all was.

Red Flag
The computer BSOD and LA length of time to go and get stuff from TonE's apartment. Why so long. If LA had to go around with TonE at the apartment and find things and pack them then the time frame might be ok but LA say everything was already nice an neat and organized which is not the Casey he knows. If it was just grab the packed stuff and go way too long.
In the interviews [that we have seen] with TonE it is not mentioned that anyone came and picked up Casey's things. TonE said he spoke to LA and Amy H. on the phone that same night. No mention of LA coming over. Nate did not mention LA coming and picking up Casey's things on his interview on TV. Amy H. did not mention anything about anyone having said anything to her about LA going to TonE's place and getting Casey's things and she seems to have her dates and times and who said what to whom down pretty good.

Red Flag
The little private conversations that LA and Casey had out in the garage with the stinking smelling car with no LE around.
Pick the best place to go to discuss what you don't want anyone else to hear is where you know no one else in their right mind would be or expect anyone else to think that you would be there if they went to look for you.

Red Flag.
No mention to LE about having any contact with Casey on July 3.
Amy mentions the comment made by Casey that she would have to leave because LA was trying to find her.

Red Flag
LA ‘clues’ LE in on the lawyer. Why?
IMO JB has been fishy from day one. Starting from how Casey ‘picked’ him to be handle her case, to his interviews on camera, his lack of performance at the bond hearing, his long days at the office with Casey and now this receipt stuff.
I can’t remember but the lawyer was there when one of Casey’s friends was asked by the A’s to come over and talk to them.

Red Flag
LA doesn’t tell LE where he has been or talked to in any great detail as the others have.

not sure where to post this, but I do remember in the interview that LA said that Cindy was the first to hold Caylee when she was born, not KC. Does anyone know WHY? I had a friend who refused to hold her baby after it was born because she hurt her too much (it was all about her). What was the case with KC?

If she had a C-section she would not have been awake to hold her. If there were problems and they were working on her for some reason, she might have been out... put to sleep. The mommies are not always the ones who get to hold them first. Sometimes the daddies or the grandparents are. I didn't get to hold any of mine at first.. barely remember seeing the first two, and didn't even see the last one for 2 days... had a C-section and he was in an incubator, hooked up to IV's and oxygen.

Interesting. Why would a person need a gas can at all?! Why not pull into a station now and then? :waitasec: I have never owned a gas can other than for a lawnmower...and have only run out of gas once in my life!

My theory on why she needed so many gas cans was that she and/or some of her friends were stealing gas. That has become more of a problem now that gas prices are so high. Just a thought...

I had a friend who refused to hold her baby after it was born because she hurt her too much (it was all about her). What was the case with KC?

When my granddaughter was born my daughter was busy getting cleaned up and stitched. I wanted to hold my granddaughter real bad but I fetl it would be inappropriate so I had the baby's father take her first. I just felt she looked so sad by herself in the isolette just after being born and should have been held but I knew it wasn't my place and that only her parents should be the first to hold her.

Thats a good point about gas cans, never thought of that.

Do they knock you out for all c sections over with you?

My impressions in reading Lee's interview was that at first he didn't know what was happening or had happened with Caylee. From the way he talked, Casey may have been close to telling him what happened, when CA then said "What have you done". Thought it was interesting though that it almost looked like LA was the first to bring up kidnapping rather than anything else when he said "who took her". I didn't get the impression that that was an intentional suggestion to her though, more like he said it and she grabbed on to that.

IIRC LA stated he was trying to find out who took her. CA actually verbalized it to KC.

Other impressions, when LA was talking about what he brought back from Tony's, there was no mention of kids clothing or toys or other things you always have with kids. I mean she had left with Caylee and was staying away from home. Think of all the things you have with a kid that age, for that period of time. And generally you wouldn't leave all of it at the sitter's. Dirty clothing at least would be brought home.

Her granddaughter is missing, she suspects that her daughter has done something, she has called the police on her daughter- and Cindy's pocketing money that was found in Casey's wallet??? That struck me as odd, even though Casey allegedly stole money from her.

Also, and I really hate to say this.... LE is called to investigate a missing child, they have a mother who is telling a story that is rather bizarre, and they leave the family to go through her belongings with out any observation? They are shown reciepts in the mother's possessions and they don't show any interest in them? I mean it sounds like the fact that it has already been brought up that Casey is stealing from her mother, using her mother's credit card, and they aren't interested in the proof of that? Or what if those reciepts showed that Casey had purchased a shovel, a large amount of gas or rented a storage locker or something? What if there were hotel charges in another city? I think LE dropped the ball there, or at least made their job much harder. And why was she keeping the reciepts anyway?

That is what LA and CA claim. Is it the truth?

Her stuff was organized. That one is a puzzle. But it could have happened if at some point Casey had decided to go through her stuff to make sure she wasn't holding onto anything incriminating, making sure that she wasn't holding onto anything of Caylee's. Nervousness might have had her folding things as she went through them.

The detective explained to LA it might be because TL needed to retrieve Amy's missing/stolen checkbook from KC's bag. Seems to me LA was trying to cast doubt on TL.

The computer blue screen. I don't think LA did that and I don't think Tony did that. I also don't think a virus did that. I think that Casey did that, after she had cleaned out her myspace, her emails, her pictures, I think she tried to wipe her computer. I mean emptying her yahoo, cleaning out her myspace and everything was too time consuming for LA to have done. Cleaning all of that out would be useless if there were traces of the info left on your computer. So the logical thing to do after all that work would be to try to wipe it. But I think she messed it up, when she tried to wipe it and it became useless, so after that she used another computer. If you remember LE said in the interview that she continued to use a computer but after a certain date, she was using another account.

I am not so sure LA didn't mess with the computer.

It does appear that Lee was trying to throw Casey under the bus.

He didn't believe her story about the stakeout.
He was dissecting her account of 31 days saying it was "like she had been counting".
He said she knew how many days.

LA:...it was uhm, it was at the, it, actually when I got there originally it was, it was still, it was off at that point. But it was set up...

He can't seem to respond here with a simple answer.
It looks like he was about to say "it was still on"

My first question is, why did Lee want to turn the computer on from Tony's anyway? Why not just pack up her stuff and leave?

Lee noticed Casey's myspace messages had been deleted and had a huge gap.

He's reading here. Heh.

Quoting my own post.

Did anyone see where LE tripped up Lee?

LE: You said it was sitting there running on the 15th when you went to get it?
LA: Exactly. And I couldn't...
LE: So it...
LA: ...get in.
LE: ...the odd, the, the, the, the, it may have sat there from the 9th to the 15th....
LA: Could have.
LE: ...on the counter, running.
LA: Sure.
LE: We don't know.
LA: Absolutely
LE: Uh-hum
LA: It definitely could have.
LE: Alright.

Just a whole bunch of thoughts tied into the thoughts of others...

They have charged her with using a false Identity. My guess is that it has to do with whatever they found then.

Hm. Wouldn't it be interesting if that identity were Zenaida Gonzales. That's what leapt to my mind when I read about the hidden ID.

What's La's question for his sister about his neice's disappeareance" "What is in it for you?" What a weird question!

Not quite on.
The thing is, it's spot on for questioning a sociopath. And the Anthony family has been nothing if not well-conditioned for doing that.

In order to get a response from a sociopath, things have to be framed in a way that makes them the center of focus. It's not about Caylee. It's about what's in it for Casey.

not sure where to post this, but I do remember in the interview that LA said that Cindy was the first to hold Caylee when she was born, not KC. Does anyone know WHY? Failure to bond is characteristic of a sociopath.

Another related thing I noticed in LA's interview was a slip where he almost referred to Caylee as his sister when referring to his mother having not seen his sis--er, Caylee, for 31 days.

We have been told that Cindy referred to herself as Mommy. It sounds as though everyone viewed her as a sibling to Lee and Casey, rather than a niece and daughter.
