I believe they were indeed looking for the missing phone, and the missing child, and the missing nanny. What they found was the missing office and the missing job.

I would like to add, was it not that they also were searching for Casey's missing phone there? Or am I thinking of something else... This case will drive anyone .

Yes, the phone that had all of the important numbers that would help find Caylee. Zenaida. Gloria. Jeffrey Michael Hopkins. Juliet Lewis.

Casey told detectives that the last place she had the phone was in her office, on her desk and that she had reported it missing to Universal security.

So along the lines of CM's argument about big beefy men with guns.....should KC have asked Jesse and and Anthony R to mirandize her before "anything" occurred????

Yes and if I am not mistaken she also added (for more truthiness) that she had last been at her office 4 days ago and reported her missing/lost phone 9 days ago.

Question, CM said today the detectives knew ICA did not work at Universal before they took her there, true?

in answer to Moe's above

I believe at that point they had her and her mother stating she was employed there. IIRC, ICA even suggested that her phone was there and that she had spoken to coworkers about Caylee being missing. IIRC she offered to go there with them in an effort to retrieve the phone or something to do with the phone and also to "look around" for Caylee because the invisinanny s'posedly had season pass and liked to take Caylee there.

I think it was at Universal when LE became aware that little miss ICA had a big ole lyin problem, as she walked them down a hallway purportedly taking them to her office, she finally fessed up.

So my guess is, not true Moe.

Also didn't she get the name of the nanny from a male employee, that she worked with, supposedly she [the Nanny] had taken care of his child or children.

lmbo. For that matter, should she have had GA mirandize her before questioning her about the car and the gas cans etc?

Question, CM said today the detectives knew ICA did not work at Universal before they took her there, true?

The goal was not just to verify ICA's employment but also to retrieve the phone, which was the only thing that allegedly had any contact info as well as locate the only two people ICA had told Caylee was missing, i.e., Jeff and Juliette.

It all hinged on Universal and ICA was very willing to take them there to ... prove it. At this point they had exhausted all of ICA's "sources". LE had reached the end of the corridor as well.

I heard that too Moe..but how would he even know what the knew for certain less than 24 hours after learning of Caylee's missing/kidnapping status?..Also, Casey reassured them Caylee was alive and well, as she had talked to Zanny..and heard Caylee in background (or something like that) ..Casey at that point ( prior to Universal Visit) could have been a remote worker, and connected using online..so initially Yuri's and Adam's intent was to clearify just who Casey knew ( as Casey named dropped constantly) or didnt know..and just maybe get some answers??..

Problem with CM's final arguments today is that he was entirely TOO emotion, Too Indignant, TOO ...Toooo..I say that as I watched him in past trials (Nelson Serrano)..and although appeared confident He never seemed to get " Emotional" when arguing in front of the judge...BTW he lost that case and defendent got DP..

I was not so impressed with this seasoned "DP Qualified Defence Attny"..and yes, I think he realizes the case is way beyond his expertise..Having said that tho..I am sure he will claim Late Involvement in this case that handcuffed him (LOL.sorry Hee hee). in giving a good defense

Oh Jesse..before I talk dirty to you.. I'll need you to mirandize me you big beefy adult sized male. You never know when I could get arrested on an effin whim.

Sarcasm intended.

tee heee sleuther, too funny.

Why do I feel bad for CM? I hope that I retire when I am at the top of my game and not when my colleagues feel that i am failing at my work. boo hoo for CM! I know he used to be great :-(

I think LDB's use of the 'F' bomb was very powerful since it was ICA's own words and attitude and while LDB could not necessarily call ICA cold, defiant and, calculating ... the use of her own phrase spoke volumes!

Thanks. I had forgotten that whole saga of the dual missing phones and the sim card and one was lost at the park and one was taken from her office but she reported it to Universal security already, but her co-workers knew about it. And once they find it they will have all the numbers they need for Zanny, and it is new because she moved...

The massive details that she adds to her lengthy fabrications are just insane. I think the cops were shocked by the level of her deceit.

In regards to George's parents... they live in Fort Myers, Florida (that is where I live) and there has been NOTHING in these few years in our local newspapers or actual news that has ever mentioned this.

I do feel bad for them because it seems that they had very little contact with Caylee in her short life. George, in the one of the jail visits, even tells Casey that grandma and grandpa Anthony are sorry that they were not more active in Caylee's life.

Are they even on a witness list? I am 99% sure that they are not on the State's witness list. Are they on the defenses witness list?

I understand that they want to stay out of this mess and understand why they have not spoken out on their feelings about this case, but I have always wondered what they think about all of this? Do they condone the behavior of their son and daughter-in-law?

Anyways, I do feel bad for them. I know that Cindy was supposed to make a trip down here to Fort Myers prior to Caylee's murder, but something came up? Just sad that they didn't get to see Caylee one last time before Casey murdered her.

I am happy that they are there for George... I just hope that they are there for Caylee too. I know last week they were sitting on the prosecution side... if that was them?

I can't remember who it is that is going to court and relaying stuff to us but she told us earlier that people aren't able to choose what side they sit on because it's packed in there. So the seating isn't about who's on who's side from what I understand.

bbm

...or as LDB so visually put it, a "dead end."

How can CM say what LE knew for certain? They probably suspected she didn't, but she was happy enough to prove she did by taking them there. They were probably scratching their heads thinking WTF until she reached the end of the hallway. That's when they knew, imo.
I thought YM did speak to someone before as he was trying to verify employment of not only Casey...but her mysterious friends. IIRC, YM said he wanted to see where Casey would bring them..where it would all lead...one reason being he could not believe that a mother of a missing child would lie about something that was supposed to help them find Caylee. Now, I never heard them state anything about the phone they went to the office to retrieve. Did anyone else? In Casey's own words, she stated she brought LE there hoping to be able to view videotape that may have captured Caylee being there. Was this brought up at the hearing?
