For the life of me I cannot understand why the defendant has the right to remain silent....Again, I know it's our justice system but that just does not sit well with me.................................I feel the SA should be able to question the defendant about anything they want........

It would influence me if a defendent didn't testify... I no its wrong but if you're innocent I think you should get on the stand and say so and as a juror i would wonder why they didn't get up there and explain anything...

Sounds like HHJP is going to lump the alternates together to do questioning. Financial hardships will be first then narrow it down from there.
