It said it had 10 minutes left but I didn't hear anything. Was I late again?
I'm not sure how to read GA either. My opinion of him has been wishy-washy all along. I'm still waiting to make a decision as to what's up with him.

Admittedly, men are a mystery to me anyway.
I may have to call in next week. UKLAW was the only man to call in.
There was commentary from Bill Shaeffer along the lines that she may get aggravated manslaughter + aggravated child abuse with consecutive sentences totalling 60 years.
However, I think we need to speak to someone such as Richard Hornsby to get his opinion. However, there are a few issues that pop into my head regarding this opinion and at least one of the lawyers on the board have opined that the sentences would be concurrent in these circumstances.
I think this (forgive me for saying) is something that is more suitable for his specific knowledge of Floridian Criminal Law as opposed to many attorneys who regularly post on this board but practice in other jurisdictions.

I think that GA is a bit of a loser and he knows it but that he can't face it. GA and CA have had all manner of stress and conflict in their marriage and most probably, CA confided as much to her sociopathic daughter. So the daughter has stuff on him. Also, GA really seemed to like the "escort sites" and got scammed by Nigeria or gambling. A tad shameful given that he feels he should be respected as the man of the house and something without question that KC has thrown in his face whenever possible. GA was also pzzy-whipped by CA as he has not been the main breadwinner since they moved to Florida. Don't forget, GA also most likely let CA convince him to cover for KC! I think that GA has a LOT of issues he feels guilty about and that is what we see in his demeanor on the stand. The DA knows all of these things with first-hand info from KC and they wil bleed it dry.

Love the Pic used on the site! Two reasons...it has My Girl Tricia in it and #2...I snapped it while we were in Boulder taking care of a certain other business!
RR!
ITA. Also remember that both of these siblings were joking about getting GA a "real job" as a gift for Father's day. Sounds like CA had so belittled him in their eyes that they thought the whole situation laughable.I agree with Pink Panther for the most part about George. I think CA sets the tone for their marriage and GA kind of passive aggressively lashes out (escorts, affair, gambling, etc). He himself admitted that he'd been too absent as a father to ICA. But truly, with CA as the other parent, I think GA assuming a largely absent secondary role was the only option he really had if he was going to remain in the marriage.
Stuff like GA being in the delivery room with ICA when Caylee was born - that doesn't strike me as "husbandly" as it does Dr. Glass. I see that as a) partially the tone set by Cindy, who was INCREDIBLY involved in the minutia of ICA's life and did not give her appropriate space, ever, and my guess is GA just followed along with it, and b) a byproduct of ICA being alone and requesting her parents be with her for the scary event of birth. If you've given birth you know the nurses will side with you if you want someone out of the room. I think ICA enjoyed her childlike, cared for role and this was just part of that.
I think GA really came into his own when Caylee was born. My dad was like that, too - he got way more involved with stuff like naps and diapers and finger foods with my child than he ever was with me. And that feels appropriate to me in a way I can't articulate.
I don't think GA molested anyone. I think his "crimes", such as they are, were through thinking he was in some way protecting his family and doing dumb things - or in dealing with an incredibly emotionally trying and tragic situation with poor emotional coping resources. The man on the stand who said he didn't molest his daughter was a father and grandfather who felt shame that he was being asked and that his own daughter's lies brought them to that point, but was certain inside himself of the rightness of his decision to be honest.
Lee - yick, I don't know. I don't like him, I don't like his demeanor, I don't like a thousand things about him, but those are just 'vibes' and I have them still - even when he's not overtly sabotaging the prosecution.

I have to say this about GA. Everyone keeps commenting on how he looked down when asked about molesting ICA. He was holding a picture of Caylee. In his hands I think he looked down at her picture to give him the strength to stand up to JB and ICA and let them know he was not going to take the fall. That picture of Caylee reminded him why he was there. I haven't liked GA from the beginning, but I honestly believe that having to answer that question ripped him to shreds. He knew that if he answered no that he'd be losing his daughter as well as his granddaughter, and if he answered yes, he'd be turning his back on his granddaughter. If he took the 5th, that would have turned his back on Caylee too..
The man is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
Just my take on it.. But if you watch him on the stand, you'll see that picture. Caylee was with him and she told him "tell the truth Jo-Jo. Don't forget about me. Don't toss me aside the way my mommy did" He listened.

...And GA STILL towed the line (for CA) and tried to cover up! And I'm sorry to state this again, but I also think he's quite a little bit stoopid.
