Cold cases are so important! Google searches lead up to ws and the family's are grateful for the work ws does!

Thanks everyone for transcribing the show! My computer is screwy so I really appreciate it... :)

Fantastic show!! What a privilege for me to be able to listen to it. Great work, panel.

First of all, George is not on trial.
Second, the question of molestation being asked point blank in court on camera is a lot like asking "have you stopped beating your grandmother?" ... no matter how he answers it, what he says, its an awkward embarrassing question and humiliating to even be asked the question, much less to do so in front of what amounts to the entire nation.

How IS one's body language supposed to be under those circumstances?

I enjoy Dr. Glass's observations however, I don't necessarily agree with them all either. Yes, he acts uncomfortable and looking down ... I suspect I would too under the circumstances and I've never molested a soul.

Just like SleutherontheSide made an observation that sounds perfectly acceptable that Beaz and ICA are mirroring each others body signals, Dr. Glass acknowledged it was possible and then went on the say it wasn't the case however.... she said they were completely opposing signals for each of their own reasons.

So I really dont care for the mob hanging party after George on here because someone thinks there is something disturbing about George....

George isn't on trial... his daughter is and the victim was his darling Caylee... I suspect he is so lost in grief and misery he couldnt have a normal reaction now if he wanted to...

Just my opinion... I've lost a loved child in the last year and my reactions and responses are quite outside of my "normal" too.... I just don't think George is in any way shape or form involved in Caylees death OR made any untoward moves on his daughter. I am just sorry to keep hearing Dr. Glass discuss it without any certainty, because a lot of people are going to be suspicious based just on her assumptions.

I enjoy her blog, but I don't always agree with her observations. JMO

for the record... I was very angry with everyone after my son died... its a part of the process

Fantastic show, well worth listening to AGAIN!

Thanks, all

I thought that interesting. The body language gal on FOX said when she watched George she didn't see anything negative and thought he was totally honest when he said NO.

I agree with her.

I may have to call in next week. UKLAW was the only man to call in.

I will not be a happy camper with aggravated manslaughter...not enough time served for me :(

There was commentary from Bill Shaeffer along the lines that she may get aggravated manslaughter + aggravated child abuse with consecutive sentences totalling 60 years.

However, I think we need to speak to someone such as Richard Hornsby to get his opinion. However, there are a few issues that pop into my head regarding this opinion and at least one of the lawyers on the board have opined that the sentences would be concurrent in these circumstances.

I think this (forgive me for saying) is something that is more suitable for his specific knowledge of Floridian Criminal Law as opposed to many attorneys who regularly post on this board but practice in other jurisdictions.

I'm not sure how to read GA either. My opinion of him has been wishy-washy all along. I'm still waiting to make a decision as to what's up with him.

:fence:

Admittedly, men are a mystery to me anyway.

Thank you all soooo much for tuning in to the show this week! Tricia has had internet problems for the past two days and I wasn't sure what was going to happen. :yow: I'm so glad it all worked out in the long run!

I totally agree with LawRig's excellent post above regarding Dr. G's reading of George's body language.

How the heck is a person supposed to react? What is the body doing when you have been accused of this horrific act? That question would shake 99.99% of the public to their core, imo - and I think the body reacts to the shock of it all and most of our language would be "off" to someone. MOO

I am totally interested in what others readers feel an innocent person's body language should be if asked that question in front of the whole world?

Dr. Glass admitted that her assessment of GA isn't a popular one, but that is her professional opinion nonetheless.

I agree with Dr. Glass that something is off with George. I think he's lying about something. Lord knows he's lied about plenty in the past. Maybe he's not lying about the molestation, but something doesn't sit right with me. Just because some of us feel that way does not mean we are having a "mob hanging party". I'm simply giving my opinion. Being as that none of us know FOR SURE what happened in the Anthony home, because we weren't there -- an opinion that he's lying about something is just as valid as the opinion that he is not. No, he's not on trial, but he is under oath when he testifies, so I don't think a discussion about whether or not he's being honest should be viewed as some of us placing him "on trial". JMO.
