OK here's a thought. ICA cleaned/washed Tonys jeep before he got back from NYC. Wonder if ICA took the Pontiac to one of those do it your self car wasrig soon after she tossed Caylee into the trash area. The ones here are open 24-7 as long as you have quarters to use in them.

I owe you a coke (rum optional).

I'm beginning to think ICA attempted to clean the car before she ditched it, at one of those free standing car wash/vacuuming centers.

That would have removed the "early colonizers" but not the stain or the odor. Neither GA nor Simon Birch said the trunk had "hundreds" of dead flies.

Simon Birch testified that when they opened the trunk in tow yard, hundreds of flies flew out!!!

If a mistrial was declared, would KC be held in a separate cell as she is now until another trial could be scheduled or would she be placed in gneral population?

It could be juror misconduct, but even that results in a mistrial. They won't know that until the jury delivers their verdict so I don't know how the Judge would have any opportunity to replace such a juror.

Themis, if this particular juror stated during deliberations, expressing to the other jurors , that she cannot judge ,what then ?

Caylee probably wasn't bagged until the next day.

We'll never know what she did. But it could have been the next day when she backed her car into the garage. Even so, when do decomp fluids start to leak? If she had her body in the car unbagged for one day I don't think she would have started decomposing to that extent to leave that kind of a stain. In the end, I don't think anyone will question that the stain was her even if you can't see a body outline.

I am just baffled that people think JB is doing a good job. My goodness it was so evident today with his 'expert'. How does an attorney not prep his own witness before trial?

Also, they just showed on the local news that JB has "fans" lining up outside the courthouse to take his picture.

I got one of those gross stories, too! When I was a young bride (and one who really didn't get the concept of housework yet) I guess we would not empty out kitchen garbage until it was brimming over the top. I, too, came home one day in the hot summer time to find these ugly looking squiggly white things crawling all over my kitchen floor. ARGGGGHHH when I realized what they were. I bleached that floor with straight clorox for about 8 hours, over and over and over again.

I learned my lesson about taking the garbage out regularly. I also won't put a dead fly in a garbage can, I flush it down the toilet.

Thanks for sharing TO! It is a comfort knowing that others have had such experiences when young and learning stuff. I was almost too embarrassed to share!

She'll be convicted. That SA isn't "done" yet. They still have their crosses and rebuttal, then closing statements. They know what they are doing IMO. They couldn't introduce everything because it would have allowed JB to dissect it in cross exam. IMO they have to save things for rebuttal and closing to make a bigger impact.

I love your positive attitude. I really needed that.

I don't believe any fluids leaked out of that bag till the very last when Casey was taking her out to dump her. I think a body part poked through the bag.

I don't think she went into the trunk in a bag. I think she tossed her in the trunk and ended up bagging her the day she got & returned the shovel. Remember her clothes ( the ones Cindy washed) were REEKing

I think i'm like minded with you, it seems like the compromise position of what to do when it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck but you have reasonable doubt it is a duck.

I'm afraid of that too. I sit here thinking, if a person like ICA can get off of murder 1 for this, who couldn't? I mean, we have video of her lying. Video of her horrible lack of compasssion from the first jail call. Things that tie the body to her home. Duct tape fgs over her baby's mouth and nose. She had control of the death car.

What does one need to prove murder 1? A video of it happening? Is that the only thing that works? As long as you have lawyers who can insert doubt and blame other innocent people you will be fine?

But sadly, the jury didn't even get to see that imprint of a toddlers body.....:banghead::banghead:

But they might see it if the DT opens the door wide enough - and I think they may have. If not, they're dangerously close to it. It's not over yet...

I am pretty sure it depends on the temperatures the body is exposed to - the hotter it is the faster the fluids start to go because the faster the cells start to breakdown...

I'm taking the day off from the Casey trial, and I'll tell you why. I haven't watched TV or livestream coverage, and this is the first time that I've visitede WS today. I am still seething about Baez sneaking in the little tidbit about Lee as Caylee's father. His "question" to the FBI witness was totally disingenuous as he knows that Caylee's paternity has not been introduced into evidence. He could have asked the witness first, "Were you asked during your investigation to do a paternity test on Caylee's DNA?" Yes or No answer and giving SA time to object to what they'd assume was coming next. Instead, Baez let the horse out of the barn when he asked, "Were you asked to test Caylee's DNA to determine if Lee was the father?" Judge told jury to disregard the question, but JB knows that they heard it. What a (unusual person)! :furious:

Carpe diem.

Baez is the text book definition of SMARMY.

Oh yes, I definitely wasn't complaining about WHAT she says. Just the way she always seems to show her teeth when talking. ;-)

Cement, you may not care for the way she says it, but I usually love what she says. :) Casey Jordan and Beth Karas are the only reasons I still tune it to TTV.

I am thinking that they may get to see it now. I think that that was what HHJP was hinting at at the end of his ruling regarding Huntington. His warning about the opening of doors. I think that was a very minor victory/succesful scam for JB that will bite him in the end. That's why HHJP seems so forgiving of JB. He is letting him hang himself by opening doors that the state could not otherwise bring up.

All I will say is thank God my roommate and I are both vegetarians, and we compost almost everything that isn't animal products, and almost never throw animal products out (cheese, etc.).

On IS JC just said The tow guy did say hundreds of flies flew out of the trunk. It was SB tow yard guy.

We know ICA had to have opened the trunk at least a few times and for sure when she removed Caylee to dispose of her little body. flies could have would have flown out then too. Who knows how many other times the trunk was opened. That could account for the lack of flies.
