OMG - JA just objected for the second time that a question was leading and JB muttered "it's not leading, judge" right before it was sustained. Then he did it again and it was sustained again. His tone was exactly like a kid that says "I didn't hit him. His face fell into my FIST..."

I think JB is stalling because he REALLy doesn't want to call GA's friend that is supposedly sitting in the hallway. I also think he is still reeling from the afternoon lunch meeting. (I didn't get to hear it, but have read here)>

I'm going to lend more credibility to a witness who catches and admits to making errors than one who does not.

The irony here is that is how Chemistry works...that is why they asked for other samples from OCSD.

So... it looks like it's yet another whole day totally wasted for the jury.

Seriously, this has just become one big pizzing contest now. This has gone so far astray from the case at hand. Beyond ridiculous.

The important fact Ashton will bring up is that ALL of these errors where during their processing of standards (levels for the tests)

O-M-G how many times is JB going to harp on Vass and Chemist.

JB PEOPLE HEARD YOU THE FIRST HUNDRED OR SO TIMES!

JB when you get home tonight go to your bathroom, take out your tooth brush, stand in front of the mirror and please for everyone in the court rooms sake - do all the telling yourself outloud Vass is not a chemist for your self ONLY in front of your bathroom mirror!

Sheesh!

And back to trying to discredit Dr. Vass..........he is not a chemist. Lord who cares.

I disagree. JA was being very aggressive and condescending with Mr. Eichenbloom (sp?). The witness was coming across as very credible and cooperative and I believe JA came off as pompous, dismissive and disrespectful. It wasn't necessary, and made him seem at that point in time unprofessional. I wouldn't be surprised if during the cross examination of this particular witness if the jury took a dislike to JA. It certainly got my attention, and I was wondering what this witness was testifying to that could possibly be threatening to the state's case to provoke such an attitude from JA.

I didn't see that at all. I thought, with the exception of the question about his lab in a barn, that he was not snarky at all. Especially when compared with others!

This is the most mind-numbing direct examination since the DNA lady was on the stand. Jose Baez must be trying to bore the jury to death.

But I swear, I am riveted! This guy has reinforced the case's state so many times! The smell so foul he had to do something to prevent his lab from being stunk up, Dr. Vass being a qualified chemist even if it is not his title, the high levels of a volatile chemical, etc., etc. He is making JB look like a clown. I am stunned that this is a defense witness. Stunned.

Baez again caught reading from document not in evidence. Objection sustained. #CaseyAnthony.by oscaseyanthony via twitter at 4:06 PM

Baez might as well pull the switch on Casey because his repetitive line of questioning over and over and over and over is gotta drive the jury nuts!

..... so let’s open the bottles of stink, and pass them around the courtroom.

OMG would some of you Tennesseans call UT and have them just give Dr. Vass a degree in Chemistry please????

I now know what the jurors are thinking. I keep looking at the clock and wondering when JP will end the day....

Could someone please clarify this for me because I don't think it has been made clear: Is Dr Vass a chemist?

LOL JK!
