I have been saying that all along. I just got done arguing with someone who stated to me that the A's are nothing more than grieving grandparents.....OK! Believe what you want, but I along with many others have followed this case since day one and have read the thousands of documents and have seen the spiral of lies from the entire family. I think the only reason the A's made this 11th hour statement is because they have finally realized that ICA has thrown the whole family under the bus and that this is the only way they can get out from under it......JMO

Agreed. I have said before and will say again, God forbid any of us have to ever go through what they are going through.

With that being said, I don't give them a pass, especially Cindy. Too many things up to this point have put off a lot of people. They too have thrown people under the bus.

But I do think they have a chance to rehab themselves now by finally seeing the light an coming to terms with the truth.

I wish them nothing but peace.

I'll chalk it all up to hearsay and an attempt to have the DT concerned enough about the answers to certain questions that they don't ask them.

I am serious as can be! I am a Paramedic on the third shift here at Universal Studios. I am responsible for over 400 third shift employees in case they get sick or injured. I am also responsible for performing third shift audiograms (hearing tests) for our Technical Service(ride mechanics) employees.

The office that ICA stopped in front of is where I perform these tests on third shift. We also have someone staffed in that office during the day, but the door is usually closed during to the hearing tests being performed. I was floored when I saw the diagram of where she stopped. We have multiple office buildings here on property, so how she figured out this building and that office, I have absolutely NO CLUE! She was termed 2 months before I started here, so she didn't know me..........weird!:waitasec:

I wonder if she ever saw you. Maybe she thought you were nice looking and would be her knight in shining armor. Just kidding but I would not put it past her. Consider yourself lucky the door was closed or she just might of thrown you in her spin.
You have a lot of responsibility taking care of all those people. Must keep you on your toes. All I can say is Wow and good night.

The purpose is very clear. Lippman is making a preemptive strike to the public to explain during the sentencing phase why the A's will be supporting ICA by pleading her life.

I've happened to notice that anyone who has tried to help the A's get raked over the coals. Padilla (bonded out ICA), Tim Miller (voice mail) The PI dudes, poor Zenaida FG (you are not a 10), brother Rick. Endless attorney's. I just can't find a single person who is now standing unscathed in the last entire 3 years. Their new attorney is a newbie to the world of the A's, and in no time I'm sure he will be thrown under the bus. JB to follow closely thereafter. The princess will be all they have left to turn to (IMHO).

I am absolutely wracking my brain trying to remember which night time talk show I saw Lippman on last week but I definitely heard him say this very same thing. I hope whichever show it was pulls out clips and replays them tomorrow since this has all happened tonight. :maddening:

The only thing I'm sure about regarding the Anthonys is I wouldn't want their nightmare of a life. I just can't imagine. There just isn't a lot of things I would consider worse than your grandchild dying the way Caylee did and finding out your daughter is responsible. However, I'm not sure their opinion about Casey's guilt means much as far as this trial goes. The jury is sequestered and they've given so many interviews over the years they are pretty locked into their stories.

I'm not sure what else George could say if he is going to say anything at all. If your daughter accuses you of sexually abusing her and covering up a death how do you come out and say she is innocent? Unless Casey is telling the truth how could he really think she is innocent? How would any of that even make sense...not that much about this story has ever made sense.

"George and Cindy Anthony are shocked and appalled that the Defense would resort to lies about them in today's opening statement. Baez's idle speculation today certainly are not facts. The only result achieved by the defense in this statement was to further hurt this grieving family."

The Defense (Baez) isn't the one who resorted to "lies"! It was their daughter that did & she's also the one responsible for further "hurting this grieving family"..He's just the mouthpiece cos he supposedly isn't allowed to do any of that..All that crap had to come from his CLIENT!..At least that's what the legal TH experts claim..I wish I knew how true that really is.

eta..Notice how the A's atty (speaking for them) blames the Defense (Baez) as if ICA had nothing to do with it..I wonder if that's what they really thought at the time they made this statement thru him..I'm leaning towards it is not.

You have a point. If they could convince the As that she is guilty they could convince anyone.
I am still skeptical myself. There is a part of me that has been hoping for the old CA, the one that made that 3rd call to 911 and asked KC "What have you done?". The one that told the news that she didn't know what her involvement was. I think GA has always known. He just didn't want to see CA suffer any more then she was already suffering. I just hope they can get their lives back after this.
