If you go back and watch the DT opening statement ,watch JA's reaction.
He's incredulous. Kind of like his response when Dr. Bock said the bone might have been buried by a dog.

I remember JA's reaction (he was actually shaking his head 'no' when JB was going through the pen** in her mouth part) - but don't remember if JB said Zanny was imaginary in his opening. I'm wondering if the Prosecution kinda changed courses a little bit since they no longer had to prove she didn't exist.
