This jury is going to be ok and take their time...They have the ability to make a few million between them and I don't blame them one bit.

How do you all feel about the jury making money after this trial is over?

As a precaution I would get rid of any rolls of duct tape you have and hide the gas cans!!:doorhide:

 My smarty pants DH put duct tape on our gas cans yesterday after he cut the grass.

:slap:

ITA with you and I hope I don't offend anyone. I saw on our local news yesterday that the county workers were out putting no parking signs up and down both sides of the street in their neighborhood... now the deputies are stationed out there. Just more expense for the tax payer but this time caused by other tax payers. Poor neighbors now have no place to park extra cars and a neighborhood full of traffic. It's nuts! The vigil thing.. maybe at the site the remains were found but truthfully I don't see the point for that either. Caylee isn't there. She's in heaven happily playing and has left that swamp behind.

I just can't get into the mindset of anyone who would think "Hmmm, think I will go stand in front of the Anthony's house and yell stuff and carry signs" or whatever it is they do. What is the POINT???? Do they think George and Cindy might not be aware that the jury is deliberating???

This woman on HLN just said that it appears to her that Juror #4 appears to agree with the drowning theory. She said that when they showed the video of Caylee going up the steps (up the pool ladder) she was nodding her head yes like she agreed with it. I think right now if there is going to be an issue will be with Juror 4. JMO
It is possible she will be a problem, but it's impossible to read into someone's thoughts based on one shake of the head. Today I believe it was Kathi Belich who said #4 shook her head in disgust when Lee testified that Casey said she was a spiteful B. I also remember she also had a visible reaction to one of the tapes early in the trial.

Really there is no way to read into what a juror is thinking. During the Scott Petersen trial the media that sat in the court room were convinced one of the jurors was pro defense because she smiled at Mark Geragos and responded to him well. It turns out she thought SP was guilty all along. She just happened to find MG likable.

Tim Miller saying that GA's ex cop friend was in the house along with himself and GA said loud enough for all to hear that the answer to what happened to Caylee is in THAT bedroom. The room where ICA was. Sort of dovetails what Padilla's accounts were of those early evenings.

Hey, Pizza! Can you please tell me when this occurred? Was it early on in the search? Thanks.

I adore Mark Nejame!

:great:

Common sense!

Me TOO! Love it when someone (MN) injects a healthy dose of reality & truth into the obnoxious THs (specifically JW & LKB) on these shows... :woohoo:

The lady with the blonde hair on hln is crazy!! I guess ages defending Casey? Her points aren't even valid IMO.

I love the video of jvm running thru the bushes and asking the DT questions. It was so funny!! She looks like an idiot!

In general, I have no problem with it - they've dedicated an astonishing amount of time to this endeavor - time they can never recoup - their families have sacrificed. They have acted with honor (so far) and I would be very, very interested in what they had to say. Of course, there is a chance for exploitation and, I don't know, spinning this into some MTV-esque reality show

Anyhoo I cant find this am's Trial thread and I've looked!!! Is it under review or do I need new glasses? I wanted to read what everyone had to say. Anyone that can find a link I'll thank your posts 100 times!!! Bribery I know!

You are welcome.
My family has always frozen them - we're frugal. :)

you reminded me I have some in my freezer now and I can have a smoothie too...orange, banana, strawberry - my favorite.

.

Try dipping the bananas in melted chocolate and rolling in peanuts before freezing... yummy!

You still have a lawn? Mine died in the drought. 'Cept for the weeds. They are doing just fine, thank you very much. And the chiggers.

Strange thing I noted while mourning the lawn a bit ago. An honest-to-goodness Scottish thistle has popped up in the hard, dry colichi ground. It's about 4 feet tall and blooming like crazy. I didn't plant it, no one has ever watered it, and no one I've asked has ever seen one here in deep South Texas. It's pretty but very prickly. I am going to take it as a sign of good luck and try watering it but I hope I don't kill it. Anyone know how to tend a Scottish thistle? Any chance I could transplant it to a bit shadier spot? Any tips from experienced gardners would be greatly appreciated!

Well, this is only the 2nd time I"ve mowed all summer so it's growing slowy. Although I don't know how anything grows with the 4"cracks in the ground. Don't know anything about a Scottish thistle, never heard of it but will google it, who knows, I may have some.

I did fall asleep on the couch and I keep that mfile.akami tab open and get startled awake by Judge Perry's voice about 2 hours ago!!

I hope the jury has a nice and restful evening. My and the lil one are headed to a get together and taking our fireworks over there. Better their yard to burn than ours, although I heard we aren't supposed to light any, it's so dry.

Isn't she quite pregnant? Might be uncomfortable for her to be out in public with him. Not everyone wants to strut their baby bump - especially in this heat and with these crowds.

He certainly wouldn't be able to escort her in and out and might actually fear for her safety with the media pushing along with them.

No, not a good idea at all...

I thought some people were speculating that Baez' wife had their baby that day when JB bolted from jury selection in Clearwater early. It was purely a guess though.
