Any employer can use it. Normally it would be used for a job where the person is likely to have a lot of independent power over others or could put others in physical danger.

Also, it is not the Office of Personality, it is the Office of Personnel Management. :)

Let me get my glasses and put them on, no wait take them off, no on. This damn FOG, I can't remember if I am wearing them, I just don't know my, brain is scrambling it's the way you talked to me. :great:

Was that the officer shooting on west side at apts where kid thought it was probation after him?? What's sad is we have so many officer shootings in valley!!

Remember when things were so much more like an overgrown small town?? When parents could drop kids off at Big Surf for the day & most excitement on weekends was kids cruising the circle at Metro Center?

His name is Anthony Holly. He was a Glendale officer, not Phoenix. My mistake.
Juan will be prosecuting.

Yes, I remember when it was like a big little town here.

Omg that made me lol. I was also reminded of a pm I got (who was it I forgot now..maybe you!). Where she said " just tell them to go play a game of hide , seek and go F yourself" . :floorlaugh: I don't think I will say any of that in court...just keepin it on topic.

I also decided that I'm gonna make a copy of websters page that has the word veracity on it for writing a thank you note to jM at the end of the trial. :rocker:

I usually prescribe a nice, big, steamy cup of shut the *advertiser censored** up. :)

Katiecoolady,

Thank you sooooo much for your dedication, time, and effort. It's so very much appreciated, and I can hardly wait to come read you.

:blowkiss:

Pleasure to meet you as well! I believe I will make an afternoon session now that I have an understanding of the schedule and cueing. And I have a fabulous husband but he's not as fabulous as yours when it comes to my interest in the trial watching support. What I really love is that Travis' family knows we are all there to support them.

And then there is always HH!

Aww thanks, he's good most of the time. LOL!

Hope to see you in court soon. :) We'll try to get seated together.

Yes, they do know we are there to support them and are appreciative of us coming down and being there for them
and Travis. They are very nice people.

You know that is interesting and I agree on your JM comment. I almost get the sense that his voice is affected naturally by his emotions. When I am doing a presentation and am nervous or if I feel really strongly about something it affects my voice. In between sessions, he seems very pleasant, relaxed and even smiles. I cannot imagine the pressure he feels to do justice for this family. He seems to be a really good guy.

I totally agree with everything you said. He is the voice for Travis. If he doesn't give his all there is a chance Travis won't get the justice he deserves.
MOO.

Did you guys catch that Jodi filed a restraining order against the courtroom observer who got ejected from court yesterday? Please!!!

Ok this is getting freaky right now. My childhood home was on Elm street...true story! Are you stalking me??? (Please?). :floorlaugh:

Umm no, no way - it was accident I taped our conversation, bought gas and wore a damn adult diaper when I decided to visit you, because you "guilted" me. I loved the welcome sign on the damn doggie door, too. Don't worry my journal is all the LOA, postive, positive.

PS. seriously on elm street?

YES!!!:what:

YES!!!:what:

Ha, it is a typical addy to be fair - you just wait until you see mine, via PM ofcoarse. Not the one I grew up on, where I live now and have since forever. Oh, this will NOT make sense until you check PMs.

I am going to add I make the best stuffing ever, and for the flow purposes - I hope Nurmi/Wilmcott get stuffed.

This week he was speaking to her (why jenny was busy doing something) and Jodi started to speak and I think he told her to shut up and listen, because she looked down and he kept talking. Makes you wonder what he was telling her?

To the DT, JA as a person really doesn't matter. She is a means to an end. Do they believe her? Lets see....

KN is starting his own practice. This trial is free advertisement for him. If he gets anything less than the DP, he will have a lot more clients.

JW is an ambitious woman. She is soaking up JM's methods like a sponge. This is a great learning experience for her and any kind of win will be a boost to her career.

Dr. RS will pocket a large chunk of change and more defense lawyers who need a 'slightly slanted' expert will set his phone to ringing.

ALV (the dv expert) gets free publicity for her cause. If JA is given a harsh sentence, it will be cried as a blow to all battered women. If JA receives a lesser sentence it will be a blow struck for all DV victims.

Everyone has their own agenda. Liking JA isn't one of them. (except maybe Dr. Strangelove Samules :floorlaugh:)

I interpreted that question as someone with a possible background or friends in Human Resources, not Psychology.

Really, well they know that the test is administered to future employees, not everyone does, including those in HR. I guess that would depend on the company one works for. yes, no?

I cannot erase the fact one juror is aware of this test, I had to google it myself.

Ok, I'm gonna make ONE MORE post about the complaints about this thread and then do my level best to stay ON TOPIC and stop addressing it. Because the spirit of this thread, our support of this trial and this family is to bring LIGHT to the situation, not Downerville and believe me these complaints have been seriously killing my buzz if you can't tell.

1. This thread is NOT exclusively just for observations.

2. The observations generate questions and discussion.

3. 1+2 = this will never be a thread you can just "pop on" and find the observations. There will always be some kind of need for you to search for the observations. On your own.

4. Those of us serving up our observations are doing enough to just do that. To expect us to alter them or in some way do something to make them more convenient to read is just not reasonable and it's not happening. WE ARE DOING ENOUGH. Now of course if you want to send PASA and I a car service to take us to court, a perdiem for our meals and HH and a hotel to stay in should we get tired one evening, then we'll talk. Oops, wrong show, that was Ricki Lake.

5. In every thread there are occasional OT posts, jokes, tangents that briefly come in. If someone was to do a forensic analysis of this thread, I"m sure they would find the vast majority of posts are questions and discussion about the observations. Not even the observations themselves which make up a small portion of it. It's reasonable to have discussion over those observations. That's what WS is about--DISCUSSION. By it's very nature, even with an occasional OT post, you will have to find YOUR OWN SYSTEM to find the actual observations. <mod snip>

<mod snip>

I think that's it.

Now I'm going back to read what I find to be pertinent points and questions to respond to (you see we are not only posting observations but we follow up with questions and sometimes take "assignments" to take in to court). That is the point of this entire endeavor second to supporting the family which is my (and PASA's) primary goal here.

And then, I'm taking my Badass self in to my Sunday and outside after a nice cup of coffee.

:seeya:

I would like to add something. It is emotionally draining some days because of the nature of the trial. We go to HH to decompress, it can be that stressful. KCL and I walk back to our cars exhausted. It's hard to explain unless you've been inside feeling what the family is going through.
I realize there are and tourists (if you will), but that is not us. We are there to support the family. To show we care about them and justice for their brother who was slaughtered.

I am not complaining, or whining. I'm merely explaining that when you're inside you feel what the family feels, you feel for the family and what they're having to endure.

That is why I've had to take a few days away from the trial. I dream about it, I wake up several times a night thinking about it. I needed the break.
His family can't get a break, it's very sad.
