We've been discussing that at court but no one knows what it was about (yet). But the yellow shirt/jeans guy was NOT a member of the family. He walked in to court on a break with some papers, went up to the Judge, was sworn in and escorted out. I don't even know if it had anything to do with this trial. He looked like someone working vs. a witness or anything like that.

could that be the hln producer they are suppose to talk to about the whole mistrial because jm gave n autograph?? nurmi sent a motion that the producer was going to be questioned

Good Morning All.........yawwwwn....stretch............just waking up after a deep sleep. Thanks for all the love for my dear sweet brother. I just cringe thinking all he went through over the last month and survived it. He's just the strongest person I know right now.

I'm gonna get myself awake here and start posting my notes around 7am AZ time. Just know that this jury IS with Juan Martinez, this witness is NOT impressing them imo, her credibility is being shredded just like $amuels' AND I was thanked over and over yesterday for appearing on Dr. Drew and exposing that scenario of her disrespectful and self serving behavior by approaching Samantha.

With knowing everything I know now I think at best, she was trying to alleviate her own conscience for knowing what's she's doing is shameful and hurtful (even to herself) and at worst I think she consciously disregarded the impact of that kind of approach on her and thought it would somehow make her look more magnanimous by reaching out in that way. And that she knew people were watching and cameras were in the courtroom. Well, if the latter is the case, which I think it lies somewhere in between those two, I have two words for her: BACK and FIRED.

I also got tweeted a "kudos" by Dr. Cheryl Arutt yesterday for informing the family of their rights.

AND i got to sit with Det. Flores adorable daughter in court!

Ok...lemme find some hot coffee (with cream) and I'll dig out my notebook and start transcribing.

KCL, your analyses of ALV's motive really seems right on. Great call! Maybe the little arm gesture was, "oh well, I did my part". I have a sad feeling ALV is going to say she was snowed by Jodi (whether she was or not) to save face. Looking like a sucker is better than looking like a malevolent sell out. I keep imaging a book she will write, "I Fell For a Psychopath". To try to make money and look better. Let's hope I am wrong.

Do you all think she has seen the crime scene pictures of Travis? If so, how can she just ignore that?

Wow that would an interesting career spin. Maybe she will hire a spin Dr. who will coach her on this. Thing is, if she does this, it could be fodder for an appeal and of course the final nail in her career coffin (although she could write a book that people might read--which I might myself but I would only if someone lended it to me..I'd never pay a dime for anything/anyone who supported this murderer).

Oh I'm sure she's seen the crime scene photos. Wonder how she'd testify if those were of a female? (rhetorical question)

Katie asked Janine this on the show this week and she said they are probably bored but I think so many of them covering their mouths is interesting. Holding themselves back from wanting to say something? I know I feel that way all the time in that courtroom!

Actually, Katie asked Janine about them resting their chins on their hands. Janine said it was the "thinker pose" and it means they're paying attention and/or are bored. Katie didn't mention them having their hands over their mouths. I think Janine's answer would have been a little different if she knew that detail.

KCL, yes! I really believe if everything was exactly the same, except the murdered person was the woman, her whole view would be completely changed. She is biased, in many ways, IMO. P.S. so many nails in that coffin already. ; )
