ABC producer paid for George, Cindy Anthony to stay at the Ritz

There wasn't a mic Cindy didn't like...it was the reporting she didn't much care for (if it's in reference to what I'm thinking of).

We only saw the interviews Cindy did do - and have no way of knowing how many microphones she turned her back on.

That is 100% not true. She could have been MUCH more visible and given tons of interviews. She didn't give nearly as many as she could have.

Do you have a link to her saying this? Do you know this as a fact? If we play by the rules you insist upon, without a link your opinion about what she felt means nothing, you are assuming what she felt.

Ya know, if you read other posts you'll see that some people do defend and agree with Cindy on some issues.

I recall George talking on this topic and also referring to the people camped out in front of their house. I'm sorry I can't link to a newscast

The exact same thing could be said for those of us who believe the opposite. And it sounds a bit contradictory for anyone who speaks so harshly about this family in turn complaining that people are judging them. It sounds a bit like "don't judge me for judging."

Because of my opinions you judge me as heartless.. I have NOT judged you. I could... I could call you .... But I won't.. I just think filling your posts with "Oh I wish people would have a heart" is silly... my g0d, we are adults- this isn't grade school!! I wish they would too. I think the people at Kidfinders, as well as a number of other people, took advantage of the A's. Perhaps if the public had been more supportive, the A's wouldn't have been so vulnerable, who knows?

I also think that if I were already suffering from financial difficulties, my granddaughter went missing, my daughter was suspected of murder, I couldn't walk out the door of my home without being attacked by unruly vigilante mobs, and I was about to lose my house, I would gladly and gratefully accept payment for an interview or two, especially when my goal was to get word of my missing granddaughter out to the masses. Imagine if little Caylee had been found alive and had no home to return to. I don't see it as profiting off of Caylee, I see it as surviving FOR Caylee.

...so how does that work with Cindy's admission that she sent someone to search Suburban Drive for remains? I don't think the public for one minute would have had a problem with the As if they a) didn't lie, b) didn't acccuse everyone else, c) disparage those that were making the effort to find Caylee, d)....etc., etc. etc. It's "our" fault for not being more supportive? Yikes!

They each have their own foundations. The Anthony's have taken steps to this end as well. I can't and won't defend Kidfinders and wish the Anthony's would firmly disalign from them. I do believe that when this happened the leeches descended upon them and it's sometimes hard to tell good from bad when everyone is offering help and you are wrought with grief. I do think that they have enough info now to disalign from Kidfinders and wish they would.

The Anthony family may not be perfect but who is?
the Anthony family has a huge problem, far bigger then most of us ever will.
And I do not think they deserve this much hate. I really don't.
IMHO 1/2 of the BS is made up by people.

I disagree with you often on Anthony issues but can tell you have a big heart from many of the posts I have read in total.

People tuned in to every interview she did, analyzed every word she spoke, judged her, ridiculed her, discussed her appearance, her health, her clothing, her facial expressions, her eyebrows...... I think it's reasonable to assume that the public would have welcomed even more interviews.

Something was reported that she viewed unfavorable to the "defense" and she made her opinion of what the reporter could expect as a result. CA tried very hard to control the reporting of information. I never got the feeling that she was doing this for Caylee. I never heard her pleading with the kidnappers to return her beloved granddaughter. I never heard her thank anyone for their help in trying to find Caylee (oh, she may have thanked those that were sending her such great "tips"). I would have loved for her to do many more interviews that focused on Caylee. Unfortunately, and I'm not saying this is entirely her fault, she spent the better part of interviews spewing a bunch of nonsense. BTW, how do you know there were other opportunities that she didn't take advantage of?

I could be wrong, but I thought when Cindy told the report that she wouldn't grant her any more exclusive interviews it was while Casey was being taken in on murder charges following the Grand Jury meeting.

Sorry, from your previous post. Was she doing this-meeting with network(s)- so that Caylee could come home to a house? If she was doing all this to bring Caylee home, why was she sending PIs to look for her remains?

Like I said: Media pays legal fees, and it is very different that having a lot of reporters on your tail harassing you, camping on your lawn, etc.....
They will have lots of legal bills for each family member. What are they to do?
I have no issue with them talking to the media they select.
I have no issue with them escaping the zoo.
I have no issue with them trying to do the best they possibly can given the card they were dealt.
I am sure that if they can undo all of it they would.
I am sure they too are overwhelmed with it all.
I am sure they wish God would come in their dreams and give them a solution, advise, a course of action.
But they are doing the best they can.
Yes Casey IMHO is mentally ill, dangerous and should not be free.
But we are all being much to hard on the Anthony's.
I said she was sick from the start, I know because I have one of those myself.

In my opinion, what you are suggesting smacks of wanting your cake and eating it too. I don't think it is fair to say that they can use the media to their own ends and purposes then cry, "Aint it awful?" when the media camps out on their front lawn. You can't have it both ways.
