The only verification we have of that is Cindy and I would not call her words reliable.
Actually her high school records indicate she did graduate. her guidance counselor confirmed that she did not graduate on time, but that she must have picked up the last credit in summer school.

I'm not sure why so many have been obsessing about this question. I don't recall seeing anywhere in the documentation that Casey left for work every day. She told everyone that she was allowed to work from home on her computer and all of the "events" seemed to be at night. Cindy's co-workers even said that Casey made a habit of dropping Caylee off in the afternoons so she could "go to work." In the text messages and online PM's it seems she was stuck at home waiting for her Mom to get home to care for Caylee. Nothing points to her leaving the house each day for an 8 to 5 type of job. I think it's pretty obvious that when she did leave the house in the late afternoon/evening to "work" that she was simply going out with friends and either taking Caylee along or leaving her with Cindy. MOO
KW: ITA with you. Casey was lazy and a user....why would she bother, or how could she even afford, to take Caylee elsewhere? Gawd, we've all seen the pictures of the A home with the pool and patio and lovely, oriental motiff, and the bedroom with "absolutely" everything that a child could desire, haven't we? Why WOULD you leave a place - a free place - that had everything to offer to you and your child? All of this aside, I really don't think that Casey was the type of "Mother" to put much effort into anything except getting herself laid. She left all of the responsibilities to her parents.....the parents who chose to turn a blind eye to everything Casey did, and didn't do, rather than put forth the effort and energy to change things or prove that they cared. Ignore it and it will go away or make itself right? Or have to peel away the skins one at a time, over a period of a long, long time to try to deal with it and try to fix it.
We all have choices, and they have chosen poorly.
Casey simply bided her time, filled with lies and dreams, and continued to care only for herself. And GA, CA and LA all sat back and allowed this BS to kill Caylee.

RM says when he and Casey were a "couple", Casey and Caylee spent their nights with him, 4 or 5 times a week. RM said he and Casey & Caylee sat around his apartment except for maybe 1 night a month. That wouldn't cost Casey any money.

After Casey moved in with AL, according to RM, Casey became a partier.

RM also said even after he and Casey were NOT an official couple Casey and Caylee still stayed with him (in his bed) from time to time. We know it happened June 9. That is only one week before Caylee died.

I think before June 16 spending the night with Zanny = Casey and Caylee sleeping with RM. I don't think Cindy would have been ok with the truth.

RM's testimony from http://www.wftv.com/news/18530380/detail.html .

I still find it hard to believe that C&G were not more curious/concerned of where Caylee spent 4-5 nights of the week for about 2 months. Yes, I'm sure Casey gave them "Caylee is staying overnight at Zanny's" story...Did they not ever ask Caylee how she was doing with Zanny and those nights she spent away from home? Did Caylee not ever mention Ricardo's name(or her variation of it)and the drums she played?? Caylee did speak.
It seems that G&C, if Caylee did mention the apartment and drums , believed Casey's (the known liar) version of events and not Caylee's.

There are many places that provide an outlet for stay at home moms, the library, the local restaurants with indoor play gyms, Also, I wonder if Casey took advantage of the YMCA at J Blanchard Park. I know some of her older group of friends have connections with it, I wonder if she ever took Caylee to the gym, put her in the daycare room and left the premises? Does anyone know if Curves in Orlando has a daycare room? One of Casey's friend's myspace buddies is from NJ, says she used to work at Curves, and currently works at Target? She could have been taking advantage of friends all over town.

Hi Wings. Bold me.
I doubt it, I think we would have heard rumors or facts already if she had a Y membership and if Caylee and Casey were seen there regularly, especially by the daycare staff.
Casey could not afford a Y Family Rate membership(it was about $90/month 2years ago when I cancelled my membership) which she would have needed to be a member of the Y or be on a Subsidized Rate program.
Unless Casey had inside connections going against Y Policy and a fake Y Photo ID and never checked in at the front desk to have the card swiped on the computer for verification I doubt she had left Caylee at the YMCA childcare.
Also the Y's childcare policy has a time limit, I remember it being 2 hours.

Someone else may have touched on this already (the subject here intrigues me, but I did not read through all of the pages, so if I am repeating someone else's thoughts, forgive me please).

For me, there is no strange mystery to this phenom with KC dropping Caylee off at her mother's or where she was going when CA and GA thought they were with "the nanny".

From what has been released so far, here is how it seems to have played out.

To avoid conflict at home, KC says she is working late and that Caylee is at the nanny's.

Meanwhile, it's really KC taking Caylee to Ricardo's to spend the night.

CA thought KC was working and Caylee was with the nanny, but KC and Caylee were together with Ricardo, or Jesse, or wherever they were - but they were together.

The times KC dropped Caylee off at her mom's work to "go to work" - no work, no job - just hanging out with various friends, probably at their homes, or apartments, until the clubs opened. (Remember, KC had lots of friends and acquaintances.) Also remember that one of KC's fake work emails told her to bring extra clothes (jeans, etc).

As far as money, and where did KC get the money, remember she had been stealing from her parents for years - so much so that there were major financial difficulties in that house. LA also stated that KC stole from him and his friends.

IMO, KC invented Nanny partly to explain why she had no money leftover from "job".

KC is simply a selfish, irresponsible monster who wanted to do what she wanted when she wanted.

No prostitute job, no mystery, simply a selfish monster who, when she began dating AL, realized that Caylee was no longer welcome for overnight visits, and since she was so selfish, decided that Caylee had to go.

Afterall, CA was no longer willing to watch the child 24/7 and KC had no where else to turn (no money for a real sitter, no desire to have CA get custody of the child, and no resources other than her own warped brain).

IMO, KC was treading very thin ice, for a long time. And AL, through no fault of his own, was the clincher. He did not want Caylee around, and KC for whatever reason, felt that AL was her knight in shining armor.

ADDED: I wish there were another, more mysterious story that would explain why KC felt she had to do this, or why this happened, but I am 100% FIRM that this child's death was not accidental, nor did a "prostitute" or some bad character commit this crime. It's so hard for me, and others, to actually understand that this 22 year old woman INTENTIONALLY MURDERED an innocent, beautiful child. But sadly, this is exactly what it appears to be.

The only verification we have of that is Cindy and I would not call her words reliable.

Actually, there was a document about Casey from the school with "graduated" checked off in one of the doc dumps. Casey didn't walk with her class, but somehow, she did graduate according to her school records. (Of course, there may have been an error in the records.)

Q:Again: Where was Casey going for two years?

NOWHERE.. ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE.

When Caylee was with Casey... Casey was "the nanny" and she told her mother that Caylee was with "the nanny"

When Caylee was with her mother .... Cindy was "the nanny" and she told her friends that Caylee was with "the nanny"

During the day, while her parents were at work.. she just went back home and would tell her friends that she was at work "in the office" while Caylee was at the nannys. All the while, Caylee was in her bedroom playing with more toys than I have ever seen a 2 yo own. ( I bet she went to Target every day and bought something new just to keep Caylee "entertained")

All the while, Casey was GOING NOWHERE..

I find it hard to believe that even while Caylee was with the "Nanny", Cindy never asked to speak to Caylee on the phone before she went to bed, to tell
her goodnight, or ask how her day was, what she had for dinner, just to hear her voice even. If Cindy was working until 5:30 or so, and Caylee was at the Nanny's overnight, why would she not insist on a quick phone call after her bath or before bed to say Hi or Goodnight to her granddaughter? Why wouldn't she ask Casey for Zanny's number or ask Casey to have Zanny call her so she could check in for a minute.

I think all those years she was going to friends houses, the bars, maybe alittle shopping with mom's cc. But I have wondered about those "bad pictures" could it be that instead of "being" in the pictures, that she was "taking" the pictures? That would have given her alittle money.

i think you might have hit the nail on the head here.

the longer we have to wait to find out what 'really' happened or what she was doing, the more we dramatize it and start thinking it must have been something crazy.

she was too lazy to be a streetwalker and too broke to be an escort.
identity theft/scam, maybe, but unlikely. too much work.

Actually, there was a document about Casey from the school with "graduated" checked off in one of the doc dumps. Casey didn't walk with her class, but somehow, she did graduate according to her school records. (Of course, there may have been an error in the records.)

According to George's interview with the FBI, she never did graduate. Never even went back for her GED. Saying she graduated was quintessential Cindy, it fit into her image of the perfect family she wanted to project.

As far as where she went? I don't think it was anywhere in particular, just where she felt like going that day! It's pretty easy to while away a day when you have a baby/toddler. And again, in George's interview (which, IMO is the last credible interview any of the A's gave, with the exception of Shirley, of course ;)), he had suspected for a while that KC wasn't working anywhere. She was an expert in making excuses for missing paychecks (they're in the bosses drawer and he's gone on vacation, HR screwed up, etc) and GA also talked about the time that she altered a deposit slip to make it look like she had deposited $4000 into their account. This was a huge deal in their lives, KC's financial dependency and irresponsibility.

I'm sure that she also convinced them that this was a low paying stepping stone job to a high paying career. "Hey, I'm not making much, but I'm getting great experience and making contacts!" And that could have led into the $ reasoning, "I'm paying Zanny everything I make, but it'll be worth it in the end!" I'm also sure that the computer records would show that the majority of the time she was home on Myspace or Facebook.

Before June 16th, Cindy knew that Caylee was not at the nanny's. Because CINDY HAD CAYLEE MOST NIGHTS until after June 16th.

Cindy THOUGHT Casey was working at night so she was kept Caylee. During the day.. Cindy thought Casey's event planner job was a "telecommuting" job and she only had to use the "nanny" once in awhile. When Casey "had events" at night Cindy watched Caylee. When Cindy wasn't watching Caylee... Casey took Caylee with her and Cindy was aware of that.

After June 16th, Casey was telling her Mom and her friends that Caylee was at the "nannys" 24/7. Cindy DID ASK to talk to Caylee and Casey was telling her NO that it would just upset Caylee.

Keep in mind, Casey kept her group of friends secluded from her parents so that she could tell 2 different stories without getting caught.

Do not confuse what Caylee's "nanny arrangments" AFTER JUNE 16th (where Casey said Caylee was with the nanny 24/7) with the "arrangements" BEFORE to JUNE 16th

Wonder what Fusian customers had money missing out their purses/wallets? Did any party (such as no-clothes) participants have money missing?

I also wondered if KC managed to 'pocket' things that didn't belong to her. She seemed quite cool at both the bank and the stores when cashing cheques that didn't belong to her. Very practised in looking innocent. I wonder if she had a juvie record for shoplifting? Little things at first, like SP's nail polish, but later maybe she switched to bigger things and money?

bolded by me - ITA!!!!

Besides, just from what I've read, I don't think KC liked sex that much. I really don't think she enjoyed the act - it was more her power over men that she liked, almost as though she was going through every motion to totally please the man and pretending to be pleased herself. Just a hunch, but I can totally see this from her.

What I would love love love to know is when CA thought the baby was with the nanny - perhaps specific dates/times, or month estimates (March, April, etc)

They could then match up these times with where KC actually was and find out that Caylee was actually with her - i.e. Ricardo's, Jesse's, etc.

This would solidify the fact that there was in fact no nanny. (not that many of us need more proof, but the jurors may want more info).

I noticed something in the latest document dump that makes me want to revisit this subject. It was in the interviews with Cindy's co-workers.

They said that Casey OFTEN come by Cindy's office to drop Caylee off when she (Casey) was "on her way to work". They said she was dressed "as if she was going to work" - whatever that means. I guess meaning not in shorts or jeans, flip-flops, etc. I believe someone said this would happen at least once per week or so.

Now, according to other information Cindy's normal work hours were usually until around 5 or 6 PM. So if Casey is dropping Caylee off at Cindy's office, it was BEFORE 5 or 6 PM, unleass Cindy was working late. And how late would Cindy be working with a 2 1/2 year old there with her?

So, was Casey going out partying and clubbing at 5 - 6 PM? Hardly, since the clubs don't get going until much later, say 9 - 10PM. And if she was going out partying, would she not need to change clothing somewhere? Work clothes are not club clothes.

This went on for TWO YEARS???? And neither George nor Cindy had ANY CLUE
that Casey did not have a job? I do NOT believe that at all!

Also, Cindy made statements to LE that Casey never was away from home overnight until right before she went "missing". Yet Ricardo stated that Casey AND Caylee stayed at his place numerous times. Wasn't that in March?

I still think Casey was "working" during those two years. I do not believe that Cindy and George fully supported all of Casey's financial needs for two years. She was getting money from somewhere and I do not believe she was stealing it for two years.

Any thoughts or input?

But where? Everyone she said she worked for proved that she did not

Their is no way, unless they were either brain damaged or just did not care, that they could have believed KC had a nanny. First of all, KC had no money or job. CA, IMO, knew this. How could you live with anyone and find that out PDQ? If they really belived the nanny story, them shame on them for not even wanting to meet this person.

I just worry about how KC treated that poor baby when no one else was around. It breaks my heart.:(:(

Noone knows, because none of her clients will come clean.
Well, that's what I think. ("Call girl")

edit:in any other case they may have come forward, but in this one, they face being DNA-tested to see if they are the father of Caylee.

Bernie Madoff fooled some pretty sophisticated people. Lacie was happy as a clam with her devoted Scott.

It is obvious from interviews with Cindy's co-workers and her mother (to whom Cindy confided all) that Cindy DID believe Casey worked at Universal and had a nanny. Cindy even believed JH was Casey's boyfriend. She cooked meal after meal for JH despite his never making it over.

Just like Amy thought Casey was going to lease a house with her. Casey was setting appointments with Amy to meet her at imaginary houses the next afternoon, time after time after time. Yet when Casey cancelled all of that and made up a new story, Amy believed it. Amy even did a change-of-address in anticipation of Casey getting her parent's house.

Casey convinced Amy think she walked in her sleep and took her own money. Can you imagine ANYBODY believing THAT?

In all fairness to Casey's family, they weren't the ONLY people Casey fooled.
