Anyone familiar with this type of gag order...would that be a reason they had to leave? Bc LE couldn’t give them any more info?? If so, that sucksssss!!!
No, the gag order should not prevent LE from discussing leads with TES...
Texas EquuSearch heading home heavy-hearted as Auburn teen still missing

The same court document details a gag order preventing law enforcement or anyone associated with the case from speaking with the media imposed by Judge Bush.

“Further, in the interest of justice, at this time the parties and any potential witnesses in the above-styled matter are prohibited from making any statements to members of the media, or directly discussing their involvement in this case or any current or future trial proceedings with members of the media. This includes, but is not limited to, interviews with reporters representing media outlets as well as publication or posting of the same on social media. All questions should be directed to the Lee County Court Administrator.”

It shouldn’t but...
Here’s their statement again:
“We’re heavy hearted as we head back to Texas today. The Auburn community has been so supportive while we’ve been here, and for that, we’re very grateful. They’ve given us help in every way we’ve asked. It’s always hard to leave folks without the answer we came here to find. But we’ve used every resource available to us over the last nine days to locate Aniah, so until we have new information that leads us in a new direction, we’re suspending the search,"
Report: Texas EquuSearch suspends effort to find Aniah Blanchard

What’s crushing about it? She couldn’t be alive if they found her where they were searching. This still leaves some chance she’s alive
I think what’s crushing is the idea that she may not be found, and that TXEQ seemed like one of the best chances for her family to find closure to this nightmare.

On the other hand, I agree with you - TXEQ was looking for a body. The fact that they didn’t find one is potentially good news.

IMO, that means LE just doesn’t have any new information or leads to share with TES. Which is sad. But not because of the gag order. In the quote I posted above, the gag order prevents talking to the media or social media. TES is neither.

I think they said “life threatening” correct? Which would mean prompt response and treatment would be needed in order to potentially have a good outcome. Many people survive life threatening injuries with the proper treatment and rapid response. It’s really hard to say in Aniah’s case without knowing what exactly he injured if someone other than a specialized physician could fix her.
Fatal injury would mean immediate death from that injury.
You’re right! Words matter! That was my mind thinking. Clearly it says, life threatening.

I read that but I didn’t know if that would prevent TES from speaking to the media or not (obvs I don’t think they would), but I just didn’t know if the gag order in general was influencing information getting out period. Seems strange for them to be up in a helicopter this morning with boats with sonar out, then this afternoon to determine they’re not productive & decide to head out?? Side note they did say they’d be back when they can determine where to put ppl out to search.

Bless Tim and team in their next endeavor. I pray more people have the resources and calling to do this.
Tim's teams search based on leads and probabilities. When those are exhausted they pull out. If new tips are received, they will come back. Its their SOP. The good thing is, they eliminated alot of area. I'm still hoping Angela's prayer will be answered and IY will confess. This family is so kind and full of grace. Its painful to watch them suffer.

From what I read, TES didn’t leave due to lack of resources. They said the community had come thru with everything they asked for. They said they would stay as long as they were being productive. They also said they’d be back immediately when there are new leads with new places to search. I’m guessing they searched everywhere they could. Idk if that’s a good sign or a bad one.
Anyone familiar with this type of gag order...would that be a reason they had to leave? Bc LE couldn’t give them any more info?? If so, that sucksssss!!!

This was my first thought upon reading that TES was leaving. How could they perform searches effectively without being able to talk to LE and family about the case? I understand the need to try to prevent a fair trial not being possible but limiting the spreads of information before she is found seems heartless.

ETA. I see from reading the posts between my typing my reply and it posting that it’s not believed the gag order would restrict TES getting information from LE, but it seems weird to me and restrictive so I still think it might have played into it.

I don't know that there is much of a timeline due to not many details being released.

- Debit card last used at 11:20pm at the Chevron on South College St, Auburn - Wednesday 23rd October
- Her phone's last communication with a friend was just before midnight.
- Then Aniah's phone also went dark just before midnight.
- Her vehicle was last seen around 12:30 a.m. in the area of South College St and Interstate 85 in Auburn - Thursday 24th October
- Aniah's vehicle was located 55 miles away at the Park Place Apartments, Montgomery, on Friday evening - 25th October

Police Chief says the time between 11:20pm Wednesday to 12:30am Thursday is the 'critical hour'.

I haven't yet heard of any details between 12:30am on Thursday until Friday evening.

Video shows missing college student Aniah Blanchard at store

Why was the CR-V found in Montgomery and why is the time between 11:20 and 12:30 declared as critical hour by the PC?

An important and missing detail is the time between when the vehicle was last seen and when it was actually located in the Park Place Apts lot. That leaves the perp(s) a vast amount of time to dispose of AB in some manner.

No one would have even been looking for her until after she was reported missing which provides a window of time exclusive to the perp(s) advantage.

My personal theory is that AB was abducted and murdered in Auburn between the time of the Chevron camera footage and her vehicle being seen on S College St.

I believe the vehicle was then driven to Montgomery, a place much more familiar to IY (and anyone that was with him) in order to dispose of AB and her vehicle.

The unknown answer to the question of when the vehicle was actually dumped (not reported/discovered) provides the window of opportunity for the culprits.

I said earlier that I was planning on spread-sheeting a timeline. Attached is a screen cap of it.

If anyone wants to comment and pitch more timeline details, I will throw them in. I will also be checking the media thread for some more timeline details, if they are there...

I think that you could be correct that Aniah sustained her life threatening injury during the critical hour of 11:20pm to 12:30am.

There is a very technical article here about the morphology of drying blood. How the drying blood changes over time.
https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/hal-01770001/document

Simplified: first spreading, then coagulating and changing colour - from the rim of the blood pool to the centre, then shrinking and cracking.
In this way, they can estimate the time period of the blood spillage and whether or not it was a life threatening quantity.

Personally, I have been wondering if Aniah made it out of the Auburn area. If she is not still there somewhere. And I hope and hope that they have searched in the area of her disappearance thoroughly.

After Yazeed was caught in the same vehicle as a seriously injured man previously, I have wondered if he didn't want to chance being caught in that kind of situation again - while driving from Auburn to Montgomery.

Yazeed and Ford were captured when Macon County deputies made contact with a vehicle driving erratically down the interstate. Inside the vehicle was a severely beaten 77-year-old man who has been assaulted, robbed and abducted from his vehicle in Montgomery

The below needs more work and I am missing some details that could make it a bit tighter. I will work on it some more later if there is interest. Anyone feel free to contribute additional details. I plan to add the POI announcement and arrest of IY a little later, when time allows.

Please point out any mistakes or discrepancies. The Montgomery Advertiser newspaper reported the CR-V discovery on the 26th. I picked up somewhere else that it was the 25th. Any clarification from other members would be appreciated.

I'm attempting to make the timeline a little more detailed/comprehensive than I have seen elsewhere.

Oct 23rd

- 11:20 PM: AB and IY located at S. College Street Chevron verified by camera and debit card purchase
*30 minute Time-lapse
- 11:50 PM/12:00 AM: Snapchat message sent from AB's phone to roommate. Message referred to meeting Eric which does not match later evidence. Speculated to have been sent by abductor(s).
- 11:50 PM/12:00 AM: AB's phone goes "dark" and no longer registers to cell phone towers.

*50 minute Time-lapse

Oct 24th

-12:30 AM: AB's Honda CR-V witnessed travelling South on S. College Street (by traffic camera or eyewitness?)
* 9 hour time-lapse (speculated)
- 9:00/10:00 am (speculated): AB's parents report her missing to Auburn PD.

*32 Hour Time-lapse
Oct 25th

- 6:15pm: Police locate AB's Honda CR-V at Park Place Apts, 6100 block of Boardwalk Boulevard, Montgomery, AL.

I've wondered the same thing exactly. It's very hard to say where she currently is, based upon the timeline and evidence.

- 8:00pm (speculated): Police locate AB's Honda CR-V at Park Place Apts, Montgomery. Evidence photos of the vehicle were taken at night which indicates the vehicle was inspected by police after sunset.

I believe the car was located at 6:15pm.
As mentioned in a previous post by diggndeeperstill.
Only makes a small adjustment to your time lapse estimate on Oct 25th. :)

The vehicle of Aniah Haley Blanchard was located at an apartment complex in the 6100 block of Boardwalk Boulevard in Montgomery, Alabama on Friday October 25th at 6:15 p.m. The vehicle is a black 2017 Honda CRV with an Alabama tag.
Vehicle of missing 19-year-old, Aniah Haley Blanchard, was found

Thank you. I updated it on my local word doc for later. I'll go back and edit the post from before as well.

Would the gag order prevent the DA from another county attending? If not, I think it's the height of tackyness not to let the DA from her hometown attend. I think the DA wanted to attend as a courtesy to the Blanchard /Harris families.

Does anyone know where (IY) lived? Was it in Montgomery or Elmore? Did he live at a house/apt. Or did he float around from friend to friends place? I have not been able to find anything. Maybe still living with his mother?

Did someone mention he has a child? I wonder if he resided with the child's mum, at least kept his clothes there.

This may have been addressed previously, but I'm not trying to map on my own. Do we know where the car was spotted at 12:30AM? If both of these events happened on S College Street, but happened 50 minutes apart, there's not a whole lot of road that can be covered in those 50 minutes...so, where were they?
