That confirms it then. Two are holding “someone” and a third is standing by the car with the door/trunk open. There are still at least three others behind Danniella’s car with another light car.

Quickly eta: I’m not at all confirming it’s Danniella. I need to be clear. I’m just calling it like I see it.

Eta again: one of the three people behind Danniella’s car looks like a girl.

I'm just reading the early discussion about Danniella.

Vail put all of this amazing information together on August 3. Reposting for anyone who is as new to this information as I am:

Following is everything I've dug up and can share within ToS:

Summary:
Mobile police are searching for a 24-year-old woman who hasn't been seen since Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Danniella Vian, was last seen Tuesday riding in a deep blue 2014 Chevrolet Cruz with a Pearl Motors paper tag at the Shell Staton on 3500 Government Blvd. Vian was believed to be wearing a Mellow Mushroom T-shirt and hat.

Vian had reportedly gone to The Dublin Pub & Eatery with a friend, and left in two separate cars to go to another venue. Along the way, Vian realized that she did not have her cell phone, and flashed her headlights at her friend’s car to alert her, before they pulled in to a gas station to look for her phone in the car.

Family members say they pulled off at that Shell station to look for the phone and decided to head back to Dublin’s to look there when they didn’t immediately find it.

The friend told family members he last saw Vian get in her car to follow him back to the bar and assumed she was driving behind him.

July17 - 11:05PM - Both cars on video at Shell Station
July17 - around 11PM last GPS location and activity on phone at Shell Station, after this there is no further activity. GPS is disabled.
July17 -11:07PM - One car leaves
July17 - 11:08PM - Another car pulls in both cars stay parked
July17 - 11:24PM - Both cars leave
July18 - Reported missing the next morning when she didn't show up for work**
July 20 - Julie Thomas confirms The Friend found Danni's phone and turned it over to police.
July 20 - Police search Danni's apartment according to Julie
July25 - Confirmed Case given to Mobile Homicide by media
July27 - Vigil held at 7:30PM Cottage Hill / Medal of Honor Park (organized by Julie)
Aug 2 - PD holds press conference



Video from Shell Station

The time stamped video shows what appears to be two cars pulling into the parking lot at 11:05 pm on July 17th.

Two minutes later, one car appears to leave. The other car stays. At 11:08, another car pulls in and both cars stay parked until 11:24 when they both leave.

Went to 2 yrs of high school in KS living with a friend, after which she got pregnant and moved to Mobile with TT and family.
Broke up with TT before Dec 2016 (never married)*
Has strained or non-existent relationship with her mother
Works at PF Changs, many of her co-workers are actively sharing
Unknown where she is living
Last post was on FB July 15th when she updated her profile pic

Observations:
There is some conflict between JT and JV and some drama over . I'll sit on my hands for now before sharing what I think of these two. How they regard Danniella and her disappearance provides important insight into some dynamics in Danniella's life, though.

There does not appear to be any friendly interaction between TT and Danniella since 2016.

Don’t look at the screenshot of Danniella’s car. Block that out. Look beyond the image of the steering wheel. Look at the bigger picture from the edges like you do with a puzzle. Start with the upper right hand corner piece (the car with door/trunk opened and guy standing there). Now move a little left and focus there (two people holding someone. “Someone” has their back turned to the camera and two people have their arms around “someone”. Then go a little further left, a little south and you can see at least three people standing. Zoom in at first then make smaller so you can see a different perspective.
Gee, I hope I’m not making trouble or getting in trouble.

I'm doubtful that a date rape drug was used. My daughter was slipped a date rape drug at a bar and she was an absolute blithering mess who couldn't even walk or function for hours. Danniella would not be driving a car if she had been slipped a drug that interferes with consciousness, and if she had been, then DW would have known it.

Maybe that’s why she had to pull over. Maybe she started to feel the effects from a drug.
 
Alethea: from what I understand....DW was headed home.....but did see that DNV was following him (he assumed she thought he was going to Ollie's and followed him for that reason, we know for fact that would not be why she'd follow him, she knew where ollie's was, used to work there)
Anyway: she flashes headlights.....He follows to this Shell whereat she informs him she forgot her phone at Dublin's and needs to go back and look for it.
So: DW is saying reason to stop at Shell was to get off road & confer about the fact she needed to go back for her phone...
and....for some reason he decided he'd go back for it too.....
Unless you're speculating as to any other reason the Shell was a way station....ie, totally aside from the DW fishy story about it....however, does seem to be fact that from Shell DW went to get phone from Dublins....but DNV remains at Shell station (& shortly is joined by another car for 17 minutes, they leave, she vanishes)....

DW is 'known' - so, this means there is another, unknown, male she 'left' with...does that mean he left with her in her car?
Who is saying this male is unknown? DW? Surveillance that was shown to others & they confirmed they didn't know the guy? Or....?

That was posted on Aug 3 by Vian, so it's likely that some information needs to be updated. I'm still reading earlier comments - still trying to get a sense of the big picture.

Maybe anyone who knows more can update the list, and in a few days we should have a better picture of what we know at this time.

Regarding the person she was with when she left The Dublin, has that person been named?

Right, we have concrete evidence that the car was at the Shell Station (LE report of GPS ping, surveillance vehicle). But that quote from the media said DNV was out of her car at the Shell Station. Why? If you were just looking in your car for your phone you wouldn't have gotten out of the car.

My problem with all of this is everything we know is hearsay: the "friend" supposedly told JDT who told MSM. Nothing is coming directly from people involved first-hand.

I believe the "unknown man" is DW. Early in the case we were not allowed to discuss rumors or speculation but since the VI has posted it, we are allowed to discuss it now.

OK - so sounds like early speculation/knowledge was that she was at least out of car at Shell station...so not entirely incapacitated...? Again makes me think that the surveillance isn't all that bad....that there are leads, but no way, at this point, to connect the dots for LE
I had started to think this 'unknown male' was the link...but seems that it is DW....odd that this timeline says 'unknown male' and separately the 'Friend' is DW -as if two are separate..confusing
From now forth, assuming there is no 'unknown male' - only DW

I would get out of my car to look for my phone. It's a lot easier to look under the seat standing outside the car, then to look in the back to see if it slid to the back seat area floor. Also, DW would get out of the car to ask what's up and it makes sense that they would talk for a couple of minutes before deciding that the phone must be at the Dublin pub.

I had to use the find my phone app on my ipad because I couldn't find my phone and was convinced it was not in the car, but it was.

I can't see anything. The original video was a video of someone's computer screen or monitor that was playing the tape, so you could see reflections from the screen. Like if you are trying to take a picture of your laptop screen on your phone while in a well-lit room and you see your own reflection. It was hard to see but much better than this screenshot.
