Covey says police aren't taking the investigation seriously because her daughter left one time before 15 years ago, but came home a few days later.

We aren't getting much help from police, either. Our phone calls to Eufala P.D. were not returned

this makes me angry, I could understand if it was recent behaviour by Lisa but come on what she did 15 years ago is a big stretch, shes changed and probably matured a lot in that time.

LE don't seem to want to find Lisa and they should, its their job

I feel so sorry for her Mom, someone needs to help her find her daughter or at least what happened to her daughter.

I think it is just a sweet way to "bump" the thread. We all ask questions like that... Simply rhetorical questions. So combining a rhetorical question with needed thread bump makes posts like that.... Along with that, it maybe read by a missing person "googling" their name (like that Florida girl who found her WS thread and went to police station).... Or it could be read by the person responsible for them missing and play on their conscience...

I wish more would be done on this case. I appreciate it being bumped as it saddens me to see it die away. Lisa is somewhere. This case needs more attention than any of the cases heavy in the media...

So, Lisa... Where are you??

Nice post. Yes, more needs to be done for Lisa. TBH, it reallysaddens me that it seems she has been forgotten by people who shouldn't. If she is out there and has a medical condition...or mental, then she sees her disappearance as something not important, who can blame her for not coming home? Treated like a rag doll no longer played with and now sitting in corner...all but forgotten. IMO Prayers she is safe.

Respectfully snipped and bolded by me, because I couldn't agree more. The difference in maturity between a 20 year old and a 35 year old is vast. I'm sure most of us did things at 20 that we wouldn't dare do now. And I think it's really sad that her thread has died down so quickly. But I understand that there isn't much to go on.

Lisa....Where are you?

Well, 6 weeks ago, we might have been able to speculate that she left on her own. Today, I don't believe it. She is being treated like other women that weren't living idylic lives. Paige Birgfeld comes to mind. I think that everyone knows who murdered her, even police, but no one is doing anything because she was an escort at the time she was murdered. It's sad that police look for excuses to not do their jobs, and then sit back and act like they are doing their jobs.

She can't be far ... has Lisa's mother contacted Tim Miller and requested his help in searching the area for her? Have police assigned a case number as a missing person? Have police agreed that Tim Miller's team can assist?

Thank you. But I see that in many threads that are moving pretty fast, so it's not always to bump a thread. I've been around here a long time, and it seems a few years ago, it wasn't done much. One or two posters started it, and now almost everybody does it. Just seems odd to me for some reason. It doesn't bother me except for making me curious, but then I'm blessed with an abundance of curiosity.

I also see threads that are not even halfway down the main page get bumped, and maybe it's only been a few minutes since the last post, so that doesn't make a lot of sense to me, either. I've never posted only the word "bump" on a thread without writing something else, nor asked a missing person where they are. Guess that makes me an oddball. Am I gonna start doing it? Probably not.
:seeya:

I hear you TxLady2!

I know that the question "Where are you?" is not generally meant to place blame on the missing person for not being found, but it still niggles at me. I once answered the where are you bump with "Where is she?", simply for the sake of putting the onus back on the perp.

To each his own, I guess!

Just checking.

If Lisa hasn't called someone by now, I don't think she is able too.

So, LE needs to give an update on their investigation because it seems to me they should be investigating a criminal act!

Prayers to Lisa's family and friends during this Holiday Season.

I just found Lisa's thread yesterday and finished reading it today.

It makes me sad to think that things she did at 20, while addicted to drugs, may allow her to be lost and forgotten now. May, in fact, allow someone to get away with harming her.

They (whoever) may have counted on that.

Somethings on here are confusing due to so much deletion and editing. Is there anywhere to get a clearer picture of what the dynamics are between the family and friends in this case? Like how does anyone know the husband is related to LE? I've seen that stated but no explanation for it. Or that he has a new live in GF? Some of the links to pages for Lisa lead to dead pages. What's up with that? TIA

All MOO and all that

So sorry her little girl is celebrating Christmas without her mommy!

What can we do to get this case moving again?

I believe she hasn't come home because she was murdered.

Wow just wow...I just finished reading the whole thread My heart hurts for this little girl and her mom.I agree she shouldnt be judged after 15 yrs and a drug problem where word is shes been clean for yrs.It was amazing how the story changed so fast after things started coming out...this is what I believe,my mother always told me that when someone shows themselves to you believe them..Shes clean, takes good care of her daughter, has a job, heard good things from friends and from her own last words Daryn is the most important thing to her.All of the negative is 15 yrs ago and Im sure she remembers that pain well.
On a good note whenever I see WS'ers get wound up and get going like the beginning of this thread...my hair just stands up on my arms and I get so tickled and Proud...you guys are the best...people and sleuthers.

I just wish I knew what to do to help. LE seems uninterested in doing anything.

This young woman deserves better, and so does her child.

Strange isn't it. You know, the media doesn't seem interested in covering this case either. Just stinks doesn't it!
